Stud launchers are not only used as weapons. You can do anything with these stud launchers.
I used to make custom stud shooters Like rifles grenade launchers etc.

I know you said transformers would be less common, but I think it'd be really cool if you made your own versions of Optimus and megatron. You have all these transformers, but no one to lead them. You don't have to, I just think it'd be cool.

I love the fact that they essentially made an upgraded megaphone blaster that actually fires. I hope they can make new designs that better resemble actual blasters like Chewbacca's bow blaster.
I think the fact that stud shooters are very obviously pistols is what puts them below megaphone blasters to me, because the megaphone blasters were just vague enough that they could either be seen as a pistol or a rifle.
They did make chewbacca's crossbow and It's a fucking Stud shooter
I experimented briefly with using stud shooters as small cannons for my pirate sets. Think deck guns or swivel guns, something to bridge the absurd gap between the muskets and the massive 36 pounder naval cannons which is what I imagine the standard lego cannon being.
Anyway your video made me realize I could have gotten a lot more creative with this concept. The stud shooters are the perfect size for the type of cannon I am imagining if I can find a way to dress them up properly
I think they're a cool idea. But if you're trying to make a stop motion it's not very fun to use, it accidentally shoots, and with people who have OCD it has to have a stud in it.

the dinner plate mag is based off of the DP27 or as i like to call it the weapon of the lord LMG MOUNTED AND LOADED
the machine gun is a DP-28.
The gun at 3:24 looks like a DC-15 from Star Wars
More like a SPAS-12 with a torch or laser and a shorter stock

The gun you don't know the name of could be many guns but i would say the louis low-gun from ww1

and you just fire half of the blaster if you had the grey bar to shoot

Honestly? I like the dang thing. It's a neat little gun that literally shoots lego studs.
That, and you can use 'em to make big o'l weapon builds like these.

2nd gun: mp40
3rd gun: idk. Unrealistic m4 with grenade launcher attachment?
4th gun: dragonov
5th gun: Louis gun
I'm actually fine with stud shooters, but that's mainly cause I like swords and don't care much about how the guns look

Found be a Russian ww2 dp-28 or a British ww1/ww2 lewis machine gun. Both are LMGs and have a top drum magazine.

Even the original lego Star Wars blasters that look like megaphones work better as blasters than the stud shooters.
Finally, a use for these. Lego needs to stop using them in place of what should be a faster firing gun, like on the AT RT

The machine gun with the drum on the top is called a BAR or Browning Automatic Rifle.
The last one is a French machine gun. Not used in combat anymore though.
I hate stud shooters because... I shoot the stud, the stud gets lost, i can’t find it at all, or it just wastes my time to get up and go get the stud, the stud is stud-id ..... that was a bad joke, get it stud-id Stupid, yep, it’s bad
the fact that i can replace the crappy stud shooter with a megaphone blaster for this kind of builds has made me wanna play with my legos again.
On the one inspired by the mp 40 for the black ops 3 fans u can use a mini fig hand instead of the clip piece to make it look like the HG 40

The gun with the drum on the top is called a Lewis and were used all throughout WW2 by the Allies.

The biggest gun out of the five you showed off in this vid is actually the British and Lewis gunny from the first and second world wars
Also the Lewis gun doesn't have a stock and German MP-40 from the Second World War wasn't weak, it's magazine couldn't tones of bullets, also bearing in mind that the MP-40 is a sub-machine gun.
Flip the first one over and you have a minigun thing

I have build some really cool "own made" lego guns but I'm scared that if I share them they may steal all the credit and I want to summit it to you or #EpicLegoCreator so they can be out there for the people that want to build it.
