On Yamaha ZR scooters as well as other motorcycles this type of fault may occur due to a fault in the start relay and may not be self start. Other reasons for not starting Self include battery discharge, Fuse fault , a fault in the Start switch, a fault in the power cord, a fault in the Start motor brush and other faults in the Start motor.
