Interesting concept. I wish I could do this on a reef tank. But I bet the regular aquascaping will be a pain. Gluing rocks together in a regular tank underwater is already a headache

Fishy Wishes im just saying if you leave it out side without transferring the fish the glass or plastic could crack in the cold and spill over along with possible fish

Will the fish have an oxygen problem if they stay in the box for too long?
The water in the tower and the water in the bottom are one continuous body, right? So the oxygen levels should naturally flow throughout the whole thing. As long as at least some of the water is exposed to air, it should be fine, I'd imagine.

I have a question. How does the water circulate and filter in the inverted aquarium?
Surprise surprise, it doesn't. This aquarium is only made for youtube views. Apparently. Would've been nice to have seen it in a final version that does circulate water etc.

I have tank I'd like to do this water tower with, but how to deal with extra weight on glass bottom of base tank? Thinking not to support off glass top rails, then weight crash sides too? Base might be mounted outside main base tank then come across top rails then underwater in base tank for system to function?
Would the suspended water colum in the suspended glass box get it water recycleld with the rest? Silly Q but it looks to me that water looks kind of trapped...

He's young and thoughtless. Go through all that effort and the most important element of life is the fish and he checks it and does not allow to adjust to the temps. Hmmm ??? Didn't educate himself on the subject matter.

Need lots of oxygen for that many goldfish.
Love the use of the storage tub as a base tank. Going to do this tonight for Oswald, my Betta fish! Have your fish ever jumped out though? I think I'll implement a cover just in case. I have never *YET* had a fish leave the tank, but I think being a bit OCD over water quality and cleanliness helps a little there. Not sure though so I will play safe :)

Cool idea, but I don't think the overstocked tank with no oxygen is a great idea..
Edit: I now see that there was a filter my apologies, goes to show how easy mistakes are born. But the tank is still overstocked!

So did you suck the air from the top of the tank to make the water level rise. Maybe that was a horrible guess I don’t really know haha

How was the set up on glass? Is the ri. At bottom lower then the edge?
There are living animals in it so be nice and don’t trow them in like that and you could trow the water lower in it so the fish don’t have a lot of stress

sucks the air out of it
There is one end of the hose inside the very top of box, as water fills it up air is pushed out of hose to be replaced with water, it takes some patience to remove all the air before removing hose. Please only small fish can live happily in this, guppies etc.
