    Sony Xperia gives you the opportunity to become a pro when it comes to photography and video making, it sucks that you didn't use the purpose of the pro mode of both phones, it's undeniable that samsung gives you the much better shots from auto mode but you outshine the xperia by not using it's Pro mode.
    Overall this is a good comparison btw.

      I know bro, but it will be hard to do manual since I should do manual too on S21. I cant gauge AI. but I agree, Xperia 5 ii is great in Pro Mode.

    Samsung are for people who click and post, while sony is for people who takes time to edit and shoot. 🔥 Nice Battle.

    Cool that the Xperia seems to be able to go toe-to-toe with the S21. Idc that much about the camera quality, am currently looking to get one for the size and battery life mostly, but a nice camera is a bonus. I thought S21 won the photos, I like the warmer colors and currently don't edit much in post, but just barely and video is more important to me. Stabilization though... I very rarely have a gimbal on me. Sony crushed it.

    Did you use the stock app not the camera pro (auto mode)?.. haven't tried to make a comparison on mine if there are any difference on stock app auto mode vs camera pro auto mode..
    S21 did a better job in the comparison, as a Sony Fanboy, i have to admit that 😅😅 i'd still pick Sony though, i like how different Sony design is..no notch or punchhole and excusable bezels since it houses the front firing speakers just the i like it when streaming movies..Nice and fair comparison..

      Yep I use mostly automotive but Sony is like a DSLR I think it's better if you manually control the settings 😊

    if only sony's camera division won't be too selfish to share their camera to sony's mobile phone division, it'll surely against samsung & xiaomi.

      I think Sony made a 1" sensor. Huawei P50 is sporting it. It will be exciting when Sony uses it for Xperia 😎

    I'd prefer Samsung's sharpness (even oversharpness) rather than Sony's "naturally looking" softness, blurriness and random focus issues. I used to had Xperia 5 II, ended up selling it exactly for not up for the price and expectations camera performance.

      @@GadgetRevNow I have received streams of hate from Sony fanboys for that already. They accused me of being a crooked hands idiot with masterpiece of smartphone photography Xperia 1 mark II. Sure I'm not an advanced photographer at all but should I be the one to take nice photos with a smartphone camera?

    • @alfredoalejandro87
      @alfredoalejandro87 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@victorrumyantsev3718 I completely agree with everything you have said. I owned the Sony Xperia 5 II for a few months, one of the features which attracted me was the headphone jack, but being totally honest, the novelty wore off quite quickly as the headphone jack sound felt weak. It coulnd't drive decent headphones so there was no point, I had to revert to bluetooth headphones. The camera was okay at first as I didnt pay too much attention to it but once I did (I take a lot of family photos) I quickly realised the Xperia phone had so major downfalls. First, it definitely has focusing issues. Nearly all photos I took were just too soft for my liking, and even using the Pro App I got similar results. Now, I realise the softness is due to Sony not utilising any sharpness on their photos, and it could be argued that natural is better, but to be frank with you, after coming from an iPhone, I was disgusted by the results.
      I am now the proud owner of a Samsung S21 Ultra and all I can say is wow. Yes, I think the Samsung tends to oversharpen and things can look janky at times, but the photos pop and that is all I care about. Those family moments now look incredible, and the best thing is, I don't have to go back to iOS!
