EuroCompulsion Fiat 500 Abarth First Drive after tuning with Burbles - Phase 0 tune

- Today is my birthday and I got myself a tune for my Fiat 500 Abarth. It's the EURO+DRIVE TUNING SYSTEM from Euro Compulsion. Since my car is stock (stock downpipe, no FMIC, no intake, etc.) I can only run Phase 0 safely so here is my first impression of the tune. As a note I requested Burbles rather than Pops and Bangs in my map but it still pops a LOT. Thankfully it's controllable during regular driving but spirited downshifts cause a lot of noise. Hope this helps cause I know I was barely able to find videos about this tune when I was debating between Tork, EC and OpenFlash tunes.
Great video man! I just got my handheld in the mail yesterday, going to get EC my file to get to Phase 1. I was thinking about doing the burbles but honestly your video made me change my mind. It's just a bit obnoxious. Looking forward to more videos, you got a sub from me brotha!

Installing Eurocompulsion v4.1 CAI. Already did the plugs and already installed a BBK for the front. Once that is done. I am buying the Eurocompulsion Tuning Kit as soon as I do a dyno for the Eurocompulsion 4.1v CAI.

I have that tune and the pops and bangs is so much fun and where did you buy the head unit ? The radio sucks in this cars and I want something like that I won’t remove the radio I just want an add on thing

Does this ruin the engine, oils, exhaust pioe? I have an abarth 500 595 turismo from 2015 with 160 bhp. I wanted to so a stage 1 remap to 180 bhp with some pops and bangs... I'm a bit scared...
Just an FYI if your still running a catalytic converter with burbles and pops that’s what you smelling. I just ordered mine so well see how it goes.

a lot of people told me that this tune will damage my abaft because it pops at all rpm, do you recommend this? is this risky for the car?
I'm not a mechanic so I can't give you a useful answer, sorry. My car felt fine with this at stage 0.

any ideas on the afr's in the 695 map? I saw another video where this tuner was running far too lean for my taste but if the 695 map doesnt run as lean as the other maps, then id consider this
No idea but you can contact EC on Facebook or email and they're pretty quick to respond.
Still debating between EC and Tork. I installed Tork's valve springs some 5k miles ago on 2013 500 Abarth C, and they made a big difference up top over 5K rpm..basically the car pulls all the way to redline with no drop-off. I don't have FMIC, d-cat or any exhaust modifications...just EC V4.1 CAI, turbosmart WGA, GFB diverter valve and AC coils...would love more power of course, but worried about driveability. Any thoughts or opinions, especially experience based would be much appreciated. Sweet ride...but hey, it's an Abarth:)

You have the same mods as me. I have intake, Plugs, New coils, Lightened pulley and a diverter valve. what are ac coils? i have the rrm piggy and i can keep up with my friends abarth that has the ec tune and more mods.
@@ThatOneChannelinAZ Sorry, AC (alfa coils)...Had Madness PB but it just wouldn't work on my car...codes, limp modes and such, every 200 miles or so. Gave it to my buddy before he did his EC tune and it worked better, but started acting up after a while. I sort of backed off and enjoy it the way it is. In the twisties, I smoke just about anyone I encounter...drag racing...well, you win some you lose some, and it's not meant for that anyways. Hope you all are enjoying your beasties! Cheers!

It was really hard for them to get it to just burble, but it's easily modulated with your foot!
What fuel do I need to run this tune ?
91 octane or above

@@Shouldigetit2 way more power. EC doesn’t make nearly the power they claim. Tork has EC tuned cars coming in all the time for a retune. I’ve been researching this debate for months and I finally decided to go with Tork after watching a big turbo upgraded Abarth from Eurocompulsion make 194whp on the Tork dyno. EC claims 240whp. John makes cars hit 200whp with just an intake and a downpipe. That’s what I’ll be doing in a couple weeks
