Definitely should have only thrown those transparent keycaps in as extras.

Luminkey Magger 68 HE PRO (with jade pro) or Nuphy Halo 65 he (with jade pro) ? =)

Both are good. Depends on your budget tbh. Magger has better case and halo got better software

@@khensationalReviews Thanks ! I think ill go for the Magger, just because of the full aluminium case, and with shipping costs they are at the same price for me =)

Best review i‘ve seen so far! But im kinda stuck between the halo 65he and the magger 68he pro😅(both cost the same in my country)
    Which one would you recommend?

    • @khensationalReviews
      @khensationalReviews  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

If they both cost the same the Magger68 HE is superior.

I'm not a fan of clear caps. It's a bit distracting in dark rooms

Cant for the life of me get SOCD to work. When I enable SOCD, the keys stop working.

SAME SOCD does not work at all

That's odd. I would report this to Luminkey. Not sure why mine and my friends Magger SOCD works without issues.

First off, thanks for the review! I agree with you on the keyboard, looks like a 10/10 choice.
How do you think it compares to the Wooting 60he+, as I am about to make a purchase as well?
I must say, I think the sound of the Jade Pro Switches are top tier, and it looks like the keyboard casing/ overall build quality of the Luminkey might be better than the Wooting?
Also, I think the 68 layout is can make the difference too, mainly the missing arrow keys might be a problem.
What do you think, or which one would you recommend personally?

    • @khensationalReviews

      Thank you.
The Magger68HE is cheaper, has better case, has better switches out of the box, has better performance (you won't feel this in real world performance but Magger has higher polling and scan rate) , and has better keycaps. The arrow keys definitely is useful for me but it's not that big of a deal since you also have it on the Wooting just on a diff layer and you just need to press FN Key.
The Wooting 60HE+ does cost a little bit more but it still is a solid option. The Wooting60HE+ has better software experience than Magger68HE Pro (at this point in time since Luminkey will also be releasing a web based software but nobody knows if it's going to be as good as the Wooting) , Wooting also has continuous product support (Magger also has this since I did a FW update already), and lastly Wooting has better customization option. If you're looking to spend alot of money and want to mod a keyboard to your liking Wooting is king. You can purchase any compatible switches of your choice, and bunch of different case options from Tofu Redux, Alumaze, Mekanisk Fjell, and etc.
Between the two if we are talking about practicality or best value proposition I would recommend Magger68HE Pro.

@@khensationalReviews You confirmed my speculations, so I think personally I'll benefit more from the Magger.
Again, many thanks for the insightful answer!
