Thank you Nick for this reminder! When I had a burnout nature was not only a recharge for me but also a component of healing. I then often went into nature to walk or to sit down on a bench watching and listening to nature. It teached me that I belong to nature, that I am a part of it. It showed me and consoled me with the deep feeling of oneness. Maybe I should do it more often again.
Thank you so much Nick! I am very connected to nature and there I find the inspiration for my art. Also a perfect surrounding to let go, absorb fresh energy and relax. I am very lucky to live in a beautiful area of Amsterdam, Netherlands, having a beautiful south oriented garden, 3 parks in the neighborhood, one if them is the Amsterdam Forest, which is 3 times size of Central Park New York. So I feel very blessed to live in this green area full of inspiration and relaxation 🙏🏽🌳❤️
Thank you. Resonates so much with me. Just took part in an online workshop, through sketchbook revival with Melinda Nakagawa, nature journal mentor. Amazing how this links perfectly
This podcast came at a perfect time for me as I plan in the the next few weeks to immerse myself in nature to see the fall colours. A cool feature at my destination are the installations and the sculptures in the forest. (Ontario, Canada). Thank you for sharing this.
A lot of times I find ego trying to prevent me from letting go. Maybe to be detached from your self image you have to realize your ultimate condition which is; we are all invisible and ego banners are nothing but cheer leading for the impermanent forms. Maybe I'm fucked up Okay? Ha1Ha2

So restorative! I felt so depleted but now have enough energy to do more. Thanks Nick!
Thank you. I felt refreshed after a very flat day just listening to this and imagining the sunrise and the desert flowers.
This is so true. ♥
Thanks for your everyday tips for connecting - parking and taking a scenic walk to your destination, meeting up with friends for a walk.
Just joined a watercolor class held in our city botanical garden every Sunday, so wonderful to join others outside weekly.
