Hey Ace! Not one to comment much but I've watched alot if not all of your videos and have learned alot from them as well. Yesterday me and my girlfriend found some rapid streams and used techniques I learned from you watching your videos and were very successful. 11 trout (10 kept for dinner tonight) 2 small black crappie and 2 small creek smallmouth bass all in under an hour! once we started doing what we had learned from your videos at least. We were there all day with limited success using techniques locals swore by. First spring ever trout fishing and it's been a very very successful one!

Salmon and trout taste similar because they may be different genus, they're the same family. Rainbow trout are actually technically a species of salmon! But it would be interesting to explore the differences between the species of trout vs. salmon! Obviously salmon have a higher fat content because they have to endure months at deep sea and have to store energy. Trout are also extremely active and muscle motivated (to swim up stream 20/7), which brings tremendous flavor (maybe more fishy/gamey, but increased texture. Thoughts?
