When you opened with "the goal is to get a 4 pounder", I knew where you were headed. There are some very nice fish in there...I didn't catch a 4 pounder either. LOL
As someone who is blind in one eye , two half blind fish back to back would have been some kind of sign for sure lol.. I got two fly fishing poles on the way and you inspired me to try it so wish me luck when they get here and thanks for always making awesome content!
you got me inspired to get into fly fishing, just picked up a little starter kit and a 5/6wt rod. just watching has helped me with just starting. Appreciate it!
So that long hike was worthwhile... These tiger trout are sometimes very aggressive as fry in the hatchery. It is not uncommon that they attack the eyes of other fry and eat the eyes! It sometimes happens with brown trout fry too.
I just would like to say you are doing a magnificent job with your fishing and I am amazed how many videos you have put out I think you are underrated you are doing an awesome job please keep up the videos and the good work
Was up on your mountain yesterday and caught a few. Google showed one lake only a quarter of mile from the one I was fishing. Problem was it was a quarter of a mile straight down a mountain. At almost 80 years old I thought better of it. Just decided to finish hiking around the lake I was fishing.😊
Reminds me of the 70's hiking up to Spider Lake in Desolation wilderness among others in the Sierra. Nothing like waking up next to the Carmel River in Ventana wilderness/Big Sur and catching naturals ( 12-14" ) for breakfast with no one around but us. As my Idol John Denver said " Talk to God and listen to the casual reply " ( Rocky Mountain High ). Peace.
Lol I'm always confused about who named Tiger trout, those are leopard spots not tiger stripes 😂 someone doesn't know there wild life. Beautiful fish though!!! Great vids brotha!
LOL I used to walk up hill in a snow storm 3 miles to go to school, you young wipper snappers are spoiled and out of shape. LOL Looks like a forest fire went through there a few years ago. Looks like a great place to camp for a few nights.

The quality of fish that you catch and the meat that they have is just unbelievable.
Thank you for this positive, family friendly TH-cam channel. Looking forward to the next video😊
More to come!
Those are some huge brook trout! You make some awesome fishing videos and I watch them all the time. Keep on fishing!

Yeah distance isn’t the problem it’s just so hard to get around sometime!😅
Tigers are my favorite. Love their pattern.
Love that lake produces huge brookies. caught my pb brook right over 5 pounds in that lake. Got him on the wall too
The beard looks decent!
That trout looked amazing. I can’t believe you didn’t eat the skin!
Thanks for showing other fishermen how to release safely for the fish! Tight lines my friend.
Thanks for watching!

We only caught one brook trout when we hiked into your upper lake. Maybe another time I will go back. so many lakes to explore.
I love your videos nice to see more of them
Hope you enjoyed!
This is awesome! 👍🏻 😊
Omg the water is so clean. It must be Canada
Wow! Not a whole lot of places with brook trout like that. Keep that one under your hat.
Amazing fishing

Love your adventures
If that's where I think it is, I'm going up there in about a week. It's only been stocked with brookies twice in the last 10 years.

Can you do a video for a every lure you use
What seasoning did you use on your fish?
Do you use a sinking line when fishing leeches?
Nice video as always brother! 👍
You in in Colorado or Montana or somewhere?

nice im interested in fly fishing it cant b much different than ultra lights thats what i got at the moment
Epic!
Do u think the fish tasted any different after bleeding it? Personally, I don't taste any difference
No not really at all. I don’t think it matters a whole lot
It helps with some salt water fish like tuna, never noticed the dif with trout either. Great video.
Dude, you’ve streamlined your physique by the look of it
I haven’t been waiting for this….. would be the biggest lie I’ve said in a while

What state is this?
You should open up the gut of the fish to see what they are eating and compare the flies you could use ?????
There was a lot of shrimp..
@@bassntroutfishing I would use shrimp fly or shrimp shape lure ???
