    Thanks for your informative video. Definitely work on recall with your dobie. If they don’t have good recall makes harder for them to understand boundary corrections.

    I really appreciate that you showed the process as it happened with the fails, the head-scratchers and the successes. This video was much more helpful than just a sanitized discussion of the pros and cons. Thank you so much for putting all the effort into making it.

      Thank you for your kind words and appreciation! When I look back at this video, I think oh I look like such a fool doing this, but I researched the halo collar and I couldn’t find anybody that showed the painful experience at least even a short part of it. So I decided to be the guinea pig. 😊 thanks again for letting me know that you liked it because that shows me that it’s OK to do more of these real life videos. Have a great day.

    You mentioned in the video that you couldn’t find a way to turn the collar on or off. I just started watching another review video and they said that if you press the front of the collar (the screen looking part), it turns the collar on/off). Hope this helps.

      Thank you so much for that information! I’ve tried that several different times, and for some reason my collars do not shut off. I have two callers, and they both do that so they look like they’re shut off, but they’re not. You look at them every few seconds, and they will flash a light. I don’t know? But, I do know that I like it more and more as the days go by. It’s extremely helpful. Especially when I go to places that I need to have things blocked off for security reasons. ❤️

    I really appreciate all this unfiltered information ❤. Im debating whether to purchase one. $700 is ALOT of money for me and I definitely need this raw information to help decide. You covered EVERYTHING from A - Z. Noone else did that. You mentioned u were 90% secure in this video. Where do you stand now? Sidenote, u look so pretty❤

      Thank you so much! 😊 It is expensive. But if u have the money ! I would use it for the peace of mind! That is priceless! It is for me! 🙂 once you get the hang of it and the dogs, it is worth it!
      That is why I I made the 2 videos because when I was trying to decide and get information on the collars no one had done a video on it. So I did! 😊

    Thanks for an informative video demonstrating how you started with it and then letting us know how you’ve got on with it after a month. I’m thinking of purchasing the halo and am glad to see honest first hand reviews. I believe that the reason that the battery only lasts a day is because it sends info to the app so often (updating the dogs location etc)and is also used to receive info from the app like manual feedback. This is what eats up battery. I too have a e-collar which lasts for several days, but it doesn’t send location info to an app. It only receives signals from the handheld transmitter and if I have to use the transmitter frequently, the battery won’t last as long. The main concern I have is that my property is quite wooded and my fence would have to run right along the edge of the trees and go through the woods in some areas. I’m also in a very rural area and my cell coverage is spotty (although I only need cell to use the app apparently). One question I did have for you is whether you’ve had any problems with them wearing the collars in the house. Have you had any issues with false corrections? Or do you have to take the collar off indoors? Having to take it off when in the house would be a problem as other family members would not be consistent with putting it on and off. Any info on your own experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

      I am sorry that I saw your second question before I saw your first question. And also to return your message but the holiday and the chaos really got to me so here I am. First off I totally agree with what you were saying about the battery. But wishful thinking is that the battery would last at least a day or two. But that’s the least of my concerns right now. As each day goes by I am more and more glad that I got the halo collar because I can track my dogs, I’ve become a lot more secure in knowing that I’m going to see if they are away from the road and my one neighbors house. So I also videotaped Thanksgiving and that will be coming out here shortly but I did a perimeter on my parents house to make sure they were away from certain building.
      So for your question, when the dogs come in the house from outside, I take the callers off. They don’t need them in my house so far. And if they did, I would use the beacon that comes with it to keep them away from certain parts of the house.
      If you needed to keep the callers on inside that’s not a problem and I have not had any false corrections since I did my first set up. I like to take the callers off inside because I believe that the collars transmissions to the satellite can’t be the best thing for them. Kind of like cell phones in your ear . They say that that causes cancer. I’ll try to do as much stuff as in the food and collars and other things that I can to keep them away from cancer or anything that’s going to make their life short. I hope this helps and if you have any more questions or ideas or thoughts, please feel free to message me. Thanks, Rachel.

      Thank u so much for these videos. You're the only one I've found to explain and demonstrate the collar A-Z. I'm strongly debating getting one for my dog .$700 is ALOT of money for me😢 so I definitely need this kind of info before purchasing. Are you still satisfied with the collars? U look so pretty

    Never with Velcro and woven material on a dog collar. Just going to be a hair mat mess over time. Researching…more inclined to go with a completely hard surface collar.

    Now that it has been a few months are you still happy/satisfied with the product/ is it worth the money?

    • @Helpful911
      @Helpful911  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hi! I am so glad you asked! I do think it is worth the money because of the peace of mind and the major part is being able to travel with it and set up your boundaries/fence wherever you go. I have not been able to find another Collar that does this and does it as well. I’m hoping overtime. The price will come down for all aspects of the collar and system. As of right now, I am happy with it. It just takes time for the dogs and the owners to get used to it. Kinda like anything else I guess. I’m going to do a follow up video and show how it works now and how the dogs use it. Thanks for asking! Hope this helps.

    How do you turn the volume up on the collars? I am watching your videos for sure because we just got ours. My dogs don’t respond to my hitting the buttons on the phone at all

    • @Helpful911
      @Helpful911  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for reaching out! So go on your phone open up the Halo app. then go to my maps pick the collar that you want to turn up. which is the name of the dog for each collar or however you set it up for each collar, then, when that particular colors pulled up for instance, I chose Maggie‘s collar. It will pop up and then over to the side. It will show the volume button and then, turn it up that way. If they’re not responding, try a different tone or turn up the static. I tried to send you a picture but here on the comments it won’t let me do it. Let me know how that goes.
