@@DanielKJohanssonTrombone My pleasure Daniel - And Yes, Michael ;-) This little video you made is a great compilation of some of the essential principles of Barry's teachings but also David Baker's and you said it: "Grounded" is just what they are! There is a Genial simplicity to them that It took me many years to discover after being deeply involved with "advanced jazz theory". I'm slowly revising both the way I teach and play thanks to Barry. Now that he is not with us in person any more he feels even closer and is watching over us from above! 😎 I wish I had known David baker too, I am sure he was a great teacher and and inspirator of many!
