You definitely see it a lot more with players that have grip builds. Hitting the turns too damn fast because they haven't grasped the concept of braking before the turn
The reason I believe a lot of people are ramming is cause they haven't figures put cornering correctly or saving their boost to get off corners faster and they must have a connotation that this game damage to the cars pre race will just stop me haha 😂

Some cars are locked behind Takedown challenges. You're gonna get rammers.
Too bad it wasn't implemented right, you have to be real smart when to takedown the other racers or they have to be in a standstill in a circuit race to take them down.
Shit is so stupid, why can't it be just buy it OR the option to unlock for free, I'd just buy it though. Nobody got time for all that, it's online racing not twisted metal, they ruined so much in this game it's crazy🤦🏿♂️
@@xDaPrincexYou know in the 'Rides' section in the garage in Unbound where you'd find the 'Buy and Sell' section, you can buy a custom Ford F-150 Raptor because that is an NFS custom that was from NFS Payback, from you know, one of the storyline bosses. You can get that if you don't wanna do the takedown players challenge to get it for real. It's a great alternative. I did this with my Porsche 911 Carrera RSR, I bought it custom.

@@muhammadazim3374 1: this is the close chase cam (which reduces FOV, thus reducing sense of speed) 2: this is a short, therefore the sides (where the motion blur happens and objects pass by faster) are cropped off 3: these are likely not fully upgraded cars, either
Ghost mode makes it so you might as well be doing time trials. Overtaking your opponent without punting them off the road (like you do here) is one of the most important aspects of racing.

@@llmexicanlm7885 sadly you can’t put both on. Only either damage reduction and a repair kit/etc., or damage increase and a repair kit/nos/jammers/etc.

Just got bullied in an S+ race against a r34 and a regera, all I could was weave and dodge to hopefully pull off a win. Pretty cool to outplay them pretty well like JP from Redline skill. I still hate the randoms but I won in the end

@adventuringmortal9420 it's a 1st person only run , but that car doesn't need braking on turns so if u get a deep turn u can always outrun a lotus and get 3 boost on any turn if done right

People will ram I'm every racing game its part of it. My advice always race clean and when u match up against someone who also races clean invite them to a party until u got a full squad and just all race eachother. I just had some great races in nfs heat close races too and we were side by side at 239 mph those are the races I live for

Here's a tip to fight back, Get a heavy car whether its a 2017 Nissan gtr, a heavy grippy muscle car (the dodge boats) or the alfa romeo you get from the story(honestly has great traction and keeps a good line). Just something heavy. DONT USE A URUS. WE ARE NOT THAT DESPERATE. The moment they hit you in their shitty civic, they realize they fucked up and spin out😂😂

it’s even worse in fh5 when i was playing horizon open in one of the most competitive mode (s2 road) i got pushed out by 3 people crashed into a building and even got a penalty while none of those 3 got a penalty

Ramming in this game is a fools errand. Contact slows the person doing it and once you lose speed it is not easy to regain it in this game…even nitrous boost isn’t very effect if you don’t have it full charged and burning for a long time.
Everytime i play people try to ram me off the road i wish all the players play clean and let go of the bullshit we play to have fun...
People these days are too selfish and toxic that they strive for a high win/loss ratio, it really takes the fun away from others.

Its not only the lack of ghost mode, but the Koenigsegg regera, lotus exige, and rsr are stupidly overpowered again...either nerf them or ban them from online

Nah the lotus sucks, the regera is a koenigsegg (literally one of the worlds fastest hypercars brands), and then the rsr i haven't to many yet to even call it meta... But at end of the day it's game do what you wanna do

The handling model in this game is made in a way where it’s really hard to not make contact with other cars. Heat mastered this, I was able to properly race side to side from start to finish no problem

Honestly this is tolerable, but what isn't is the horrible balancing of some of the cars of this game. Making playing against them a guaranteed second or worse if more people are locked into using them unless the driver is so horrible that they can't even drive straight. But then again even bad drivers can still gap/catch up to you regardless because of them piggy back riding on "meta" cars giving them brainless wins. Case in point: the Regent S+, 1971 skyline for S, Ferrari pista for B, and I can't be bothered to remember the other class dominant cars. But you get the point really. :/

Just like GTA racing and Forza racing always gotta have that one guy who is trash that just crashes everyone out to win luckily I have learned the ways around this issue and how to avoid.
Online is just not right. No matter what class you race in if your car is at the bottom of a class your going to lose. It's just another one of those games where if you have millions you win.

If your car is underpowered naturally you'll loose unless your race doesn't have to do with a lot of speed and if the people you're racing against have faster cars they'll win cause they needed to make it more competitive unlike heat where the races are just easy lol

This is a given with ANY arcade racer. Even sim racing has the occasional noob who thinks its a derby - until they figure out why they get banned.
This is a street racing game, not gran turismo or forza motorsport. Contact is part of the fantasy.
Mistake or not, NFS put vehicular combat in the game for just that reason. You can even choose ‘damage increase’ in your aux slot.The way burst NOS defies physics is just as silly, but we make good use of it. In this particular NFS game, I make the most of knocking out another player if it will result in a win. If you want “clean” racing, switch to a straight up racing sim. NFS made it possible, so why not take advantage. I’m a bad man, I know.

This is normal for racing games, what annoys me is how you have to build your car a certain way for it to be meta. Putting a 4 speed transmission in a Skyline GT-R just so it's op in A class should not be encouraged.
The only times I've encountered ramming was on an a+ race where I got first on the previous 2 races, and s+ just now in the same scenario. Btw your lotus looks very familiar, I think I raced you not too long ago in my foxbody.

if you know about real racing, it's kinda easy because going full throttle or having the highest bph isn't always gonna put you ahead. I swear the fastest car in the game is s+ tier Porsche only bc of its 2.0 acceleration, jumps to 130 by the time other cars coming off the breaks and has crazy good steering, just tap the breaks down a few gears and watch how it gets back to 130. low key probably a glitch.

So I have pretty well built cars myself and if someone has a loaner car then I'll take it easy but if someone is intentionally ramming then I make it my mission to not let them win. I drive clean for every race till someone changes my mind🤙

Okay so this is a terrible example. At least if you mean that the lotus driver is in the good here. We see a clean line from the right side ( the guy is making a overtaking move). You were closing on him and aproaching apex and he was faster than you, you didnt give space and he barely touched you, you didnt lose a single point of speed. After wards you just mercilessly take his interior, even though you have a car that doesnt need to do at at all to be competitive.
If that guy really wanted to ram he would have stick to your interior the entire time, or bumped you ever so slightly durring the turn to truly kill your boost meter and speed. This might be the mildest contact I have seen labelled as ramming.

Nah it's just the mechanics are alot harder. They don't teach you how to properly drift and boost each corner so most new players play this game like Forza & it's more of a Mario kart where you slide and boost but it's hard to do it

Every time! The amount of times I’ve always raced clean and just as I’m overtaking I get pit manoeuvred or something! Usually making the attacker crash too so it’s like what’s the point! If you can’t race and your car isn’t good enough that isn’t my problem!
I be drifting so it's best you move out of the way when I get to a corner, this is not the need for speed 2015 where I made my car so I had complete control over it
