Good old Finnish metal! Stratovarius was one of my favourite metal bands in the late 1990s and early 2000s. They have quite a distinctive sound that is easy to recognize. I really haven't heard any of their more recent music. For old times sake, now I have to go and listen to Black Diamond and The Kiss of Judas.
Stratovarius has a lot of great songs. Some of extremely immersive are Eternity, Mother Gaia, Season of Change. Also there are more straightforward songs like Speed of Light, Night Time Eclipse, Black Diamond. But the song that got me on the whole Stratovarius thing was Anthem of the World. Such an epic and grandiose song.
I love Stratovarius! Certainly one of the power metal greats. more please! Another band I see getting no love that is another of the pioneer bands. Running wild. Maybe the song Black Hand Hill. Or the Rivalry, Or ballad of William Kidd. There is no shortage of great music with that band. Since they are over 40 years active.
Destiny was one of the first stratovarius songs, i've heard. I told my opinion about the voice in your last video of stratovarius. But what i wanted to recommend to listen to, if you like incredible male metal voices is "beast in Black - Blind and Frozen). Greetings from Austria Woody
Your genuine appreciation comes through my friend. I had not previously seen a Stratovarius reaction video and love how you articulate the highlights of this song ! I could totally see myself giving you a fist pump or beer bump in between songs at a concert. Love the content I see on your channel. I already see it below but "Visions" is another epic song you will like. Subscribed and video liked...... thank you !
I'm a huge fan of all of the instrumentals by Stratovarius, and I'd definitely give those a shot if you're at all interested in that sort of thing. "Stratosphere", "Stratofortress", "Holy Light", and of course the titular "Stratovarius." For other instrument-only types, you definitely gotta check out Liquid Tension Experiment. God damn it's so good. Honestly just the entire first self-titled album is great, but especially "Paradigm Shift" is one of my favorite tracks. ...Also we need more Sabaton reactions, because those are always fantastic. "The Final Battle" or "The Ballad of Bull"!
What a brilliant song, such power in the vocals, the guitars, bass and drums what is there not to like :). Check out Helloween King for a thousand years live on 3 continents: th-cam.com/video/6ch0Yq1jnX8/w-d-xo.html, thanks for the reaction, have a great day
I listened to this song 17 years ago and i'm happy to see other people hear it today for the first time.
Tolkki rules!
Jörg Michael is the name of that great drummer, he's retired now though. You should react to Black Diamond and Phoenix, they are great songs as well.
Rhapsody, emerald sword!

Millenium!
What a wonderful song. The melody was really good. The vocals were good too. Thanks for sharing! I really enjoyed it!

Millenium!!! It s a great song by them!!!
Speed of Light, Father Time, Eagleheart and of course Black Diamond. 🤘🏻
Great. One of the pioneers of power metal and the connection link with the Symphonic Metal. A big influence of Tuomas Holopainen and Nightwish.
one of the pioneers of imitating Helloween. Very good albums though
@@TMPOUZI Both bands were formed on the same year, so one can not say which is imitating which.
@@JarmoHakala But they changed their style in early 90's when Helloween already had 3-4 power metal albums in the 80's. So it's rather obvious
Stratovarius - Infinity, Elements

Sonata Arctica- Power of One
Not many will request this band, but nevermind, they are awesome:Heavens Gate. From 1990s symphonic power metal, another great band is Rhapsody
Jörg Michael was the only German in the band XD
