We've been at the heart of Fife & Scotlands history and continue to be relevant in the future of Scotland. We're part of one of Scotlands best walking routes on the east coast along with plenty of classic local walks through wood land and nature reserves around one of Fifes brightest towns that is growing in size and popularity once again.

Every citizen lving here should be proud of their town. It's well positioned and is rightly the envy of many communities across Fife & even further afield due to what Burntisland has to offer. Your in the heart of great walking country, with stunning landscape & fascinating wildlife while still only being minutes on one of the most famous train journeys in the world across to the capital of the best wee country in the world.

It was a playground of sorts when I was growing up, when people came for the day in bus trips or stayed a week or two in the summer. It's changed as peoples' aspirations have changed. Its location and the railway station means that it has a lot going for it as a place to live: Edinburgh is just a longish swim away!

My daughter lives here and I am thinking of moving here, but do have my reserves. I think it could do with a few music venues , bring it to life , people that live there could do so much more maybe I will if I ever manage to reside there .

We still have a thriving vibrant communtiy that simply has evolved over time. The town is in a better condition today than it has been for many a decade.
Compare any former holiday town with well timed artistic histroical photos to equally well timed quiet or desolate modern one and you only painy a squewed picture.
The highland games only a few years ago was the busiest one day market event anywhere in Scotland showing this proud town will not go quietly into the night.

My memories of Burntisland are a bit different.
    To put it mildly.
