    I'd love to see more about how to interact with suspicious people. When I was watching your video about using contact and cover it was illuminating to see how directly you addressed the person you got a call about. In the past I've wondered if you should be direct or indirect, and it was good to see how you told them directly "I'm a member of the church's safety team and I got a call about you being in the children's area. What's up?". I'd like to learn how to have the proper mindset of loving people and being a good protector simultaneously. Thank you!

    Best way to secure your own frequencies is find a local radio shop and use them. The FCC app can be kind of complicated. I'm 3 years removed from my shop, but it's about 3 to 400 bucks, 1 fcc license get you 5 frequencies (channels). Safety, kids, ushers, facilities, and parking teams is how our church does it. Another cheaper option is to find a local radio shop and rent frequencies, it's thier license, and they will rent or, in some cases, donate them to the church.

    We purchased “SECURITY” sashes that fold into a small case that clips onto our belt. If cops need to be called, they can be deployed with 1 hand.

    I like the radio usage, formal police radio complicated for part time security. Example Parking Lot 1, Point. I think less apt to make a mistake with simple language. As Training Officer, this is the 4th video I've shared with our team.

    Great points brother. Your videos will become training aids for our team.

    • @philallen301
      @philallen301 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, put as many of your teams on comes as you can and it will be normal, facilities, ushers, kids leaders, parking lot. Then everyone has an acoustic tube and you blend in more.

    most shooters walk into church with weapons in hand and get out of vehicle with weapons in hand,, so I would possibly post surveillance in cars in parking lots with comms. watching outside with cameras and roving security is a must... also establish safe areas with ballistic proof rooms and doors inside the church. as for the nursery, that would automatically be a safe area, locked down completely, buzz in or out type area.. there i go thinking like a state dept operator again...

    Hello from West Pike Baptist Church in west pike, Pa. we are a very small church we have no security team I am watching this video so we can start something in the way of a security team. I have subscribed to this channel and plan on joining in the near future. Could you suggest some videos to help us get started on this ministry to our church? thank you for your ministry & heart for protecting Gods people.

    Loving the content, and spreading the word!
    Would like to see a video, or maybe a section in each video, giving advice the same topics to smaller churches. Of course, that can mean fifty people, or a few hundred, but just an idea.

    Thank you for this great video. As part of blending in and not looking like security, can you recommend a radio nd headset? Most radio headsets are not very discreet and make us look like the Secret Service guarding the president.

    I’m on the fence about having my Safety Team wear uniforms. We all wear name plates with our first names with Safety Team under them. I’ve thought about getting shirts made maybe either polos or button ups. Some of the guys on the team think they would make us more of a target others think it’s a great idea. Any thoughts??

    • @ChristianWarriorTraining
      @ChristianWarriorTraining  ปีที่แล้ว +6

      If they are afraid of being a target in the church, they should not serve on the security ministry. I want our foes to focus on me. It is part of protecting everyone. Also, being visible is a deterrent. We have seen that time and again with active shooters. They pick soft targets. Lastly, you need to be easily identifiable to police for when they show up to the aftermath. It will be confusing and knowing who is good will assist the officers.

  • @freedom_music_7

    This was good. Although I don't have any LE or military experience, I have private security experience and our church is currently rolling out security plans, etc and I', in charge of that. Although I feel comfortable taking charge, roling this out, I know it isn't all on me to be an expert in certain areas someone else may be stronger. Do you recommend bringing someone in for training, creating a plan of action, etc? We also have retired LE and military I plan on utilizing. Great video. Picked up a lot of great nuggets and food for thought.

    I disagree with the interfering with them coming to Christ. God is the Author of salvation. There’s nothing we can do if God is going to save them.
