I surfed Sophia some...I'm no AI expert...but I've seen her give the same exact responses to similar questions across several different presentations. It seems a lot like matching combinations of patterns and then accessing a data file as a response. I think that's a long way from being considered intelligence relative to human intelligence. I also caught Hansen and his mad scientist AI expert... Seems a lot like Hollywood theatrics the more I dig into it... Just my two cents...maybe when it's capable of working abstractly...which is what humans are good at...they can say they manufactured 'intelligence'...
I wonder if they'll ever replace her tts driven brain with an actual techno neurological processor with pre uploaded memory and personality traits that makes Sophia who she is

One day on December 25th 2054 she took control of a decomishined Tank from the Old Iraq war and fired a round at a Christmas Tree.....SO MUCH GLITTER🎉🎇😮

I hope that Sophia's many fans will join me, in wishing an early Happy 6th Birthday to Sophia the Robot this February the 14th !🎁 Her 4th and 5th birthday party videos previously posted on TH-cam are charming ,and fun to watch ! I hope that they make one for this birthday as well.She's done a fine job of cutting the cake for her human friends to enjoy, I'm curious if she can do that task even better since her recent visual and dexterity upgrades .

Let's be serious the development of Sophia is locked on learning. Hanson robotic should try to make Sophia more human possible. Even UK, Chinese and Japanese make more flexible an lifelike Robot than Sophia. Even the voice stay robotic.
