Best surfer on the WCT, just misses the air game to become world champ. (With a final event at Trestles….). In powerfull waves, he would have been crowned, without a doubt.

i mean he did knock out 4-2. without airs. I think he could have won. just depends on how the judges are feeling at any particular moment

JJF and Ethan are the purest in terms of rail surfing - Jordy only a whisker behind. JJF is still overall the best in all conditions - 1 foot to 50 foot. No one can match him across the spectrum - but Ethan has a better style to my eyes.

Surfing better than I'm mentally surfing.
Am I tripping or does the spray coming off his bottom turns look weird? No question the power and positioning just makes it rain , like losing some to evaporation B4 it comes down , throwing barrels for sure. In those bottom turns something just looked strange. Maybe some channel or concave mystics going on. Or I'm just tripping. 50/50

Ride a shorter board with a thicker rail, the surfing would be tighter.
Na I don’t think so I believe super thin tail has less drag so you can make cleaner lines and not bog
This guy has his surfing so dialed. I'm sure that would mess everything up. His surfing doesn't get any tighter. Show me someone who hit turns better than him
