Best surfer on the WCT, just misses the air game to become world champ. (With a final event at Trestles….). In powerfull waves, he would have been crowned, without a doubt.

i mean he did knock out 4-2. without airs. I think he could have won. just depends on how the judges are feeling at any particular moment

Totally different surfer to when he first got on tour.... Never made a single the whole year. Now the judges have a huge boner for surfing at the moment so you better move fast EE before they find someone else.

Surfing better than I'm mentally surfing.
Am I tripping or does the spray coming off his bottom turns look weird? No question the power and positioning just makes it rain , like losing some to evaporation B4 it comes down , throwing barrels for sure. In those bottom turns something just looked strange. Maybe some channel or concave mystics going on. Or I'm just tripping. 50/50

JJF and Ethan are the purest in terms of rail surfing - Jordy only a whisker behind. JJF is still overall the best in all conditions - 1 foot to 50 foot. No one can match him across the spectrum - but Ethan has a better style to my eyes.
JJF is crazy
When you mix AI, Taj, Fanning with a sprinkle of Dorian, parko and even a bit of pancho in there you get Ethan Ewing.

Ride a shorter board with a thicker rail, the surfing would be tighter.
Na I don’t think so I believe super thin tail has less drag so you can make cleaner lines and not bog
