Good guide. BDO should have this in game through a gear progression path, so new players know what to do after Seasonals! A lot people quit because they don't know what to do after Seasonals.
I'm lost. I didn't do season. I picked up drakania before the awakening quest dropped. I'm lvl 58 right now but my ap is around 160 I think. I'm basically locked out of the remainder of the story until I hit lvl 60 because I can't do stars end without getting fucking demolished. I have no idea where or how to get higher ap at this point. The gear progression quests just didn't help.

@@iiR34CTIONZz 1) people can help you with quests. Remember this is a MMORPG and start asking for help. Star's end is far away from your beginner's questline, do them in order. Mediah>valencia>kamasylvia>drieghan>stars end and so on. 2) Either wait for a new season or grind low ap areas. Gahaz/Polly's forest should easily bring 200-300M/h, from then on you start getting tet boss weapons and armors, and then tet boss accessories

Great step by step, however worth mentioning for people reading this months later, season rewards can give you PEN capotia ring and PEN capotia belt, so you save a few billion not buying TET crescent ring and TET basi belt. (Or you can replace the crescent and basi later for pen capotias) They are the same stats, but of course takes longer to get cause you can only select one season reward / season, and seasons tend to last few months. Another good replacement for expensive garmoths heart (for awakening weapon) is a Karanda heart, that gives you one crystal slot on your awakening weapon. Its a free drop from world boss Karanda, and you can use the billions in caphras instead of garmoth heart from marketplace ^^

I almost pre-orderd a tet dande even though I had tuvala pen. This video covers stuff that isn't mentioned anywhere else and I'm now confident spending my silver on the correct pieces. I can't believe this is the first time I'm hearing about an NPC that converts all of your tuvala to boss gear.
I can't believe it either since there's literally quests you're forced to do for the season pass as well as a big ol progression pass at the top of your screen that informs you of all this

I have a question, I am returning player from Yuria/Grunil days, I played a couple season and did some horse training in between. Edit: NVM now that I have looked at the Garmoth profile I understand, it is essentially just convert all the tuvala use the weapons but dont really upgrade your main weapon (depending on succ/awak) and just buy the TET BS weapons instead. Much appreciated
I think for a newer player, when converting tuvala to boss gear, one should exchange boss gear with the coupon to tet (dimtree and/or bhegs) and do it to c4, and work on pen dande/kzarka/tetbs. And having 331dp with 281+ap is not good as you cant grind many good spots (orcs, BM), I would hold off distos untill I have all pen boss gear c5/c6.
@@aritrakarmakar2245 sure, but you would have to be exactly 2/3 dp away from a bracket (depending how many armor pieces you exchange for tet and not jetina). and then its literally the only time it has any benefit and it still costs 1b per piece to go from c3 to c4 for a stat that doesnt benefit you at all outside that one possible bracket % you might get
i made alot of mistakes in the past playing bdo i started playing when sulfurs was pretty good for silver and after 1200hrs im only630gs still this video helped me out tho
it is, but only once you are done with the rest of the pen gear. R4 gives same ap and dp as pen, and is WAY cheaper. So settle for R4 for a good while =)

Hey! Yep, they can indeed, and several things has changed in how you can acquire some of these items (Magnus for a FREE Pen armor, Free TET Blackstar at lvl 61 etc), but the actual order and builds remain the same. Ill make an updated video soon. One VERY important change, is to NOT invest into pen boss weapons, but to use blackstar (or godr) mainhand and awakening weapon. Check out my Weapons Video for more info on this. Rest should be just fine!

Wish this video popped up for me 2 days ago, swapped out the urugon boots for muskans and have reformed them to level 2 already so can’t swap again xD Another thing, I took Dim Tree armour but won’t touch it, I'll wait until I have the resources to switch to Red Nose, insta lvl 10 caphra and swap to fallen god. Reason for this is I play Kuno and she's so damn squishy that the extra 8 Eva and and 9DR from tet to pen ain't gonna stop her being 1 shotted in pvp but that extra 200hp is nice to have for pve and finally I wanna save on caphras at the end of the day xD
Where do I farm to get 17B for tet blackstar? With the speed of earning money at sulfur it’s gonna take 3 months for me to get if I don’t sell the memory frag
Both are totally valid! The value of Kzarka comes from being able to put Caphras in to it. The longer you dont do that, the more value the Blackstar has over it. Since its one of the first items to get in my updated guide, most new players (which is who the guide is aimed at), will have ALOT of value from it in PvE, before potentially switching to a Kzarka and caphraing it up. If you already have a kzarka, keep it!

Hey Biceps - so mate, with the PEN reward from Magnus now available and having only started the reform process on Jetina's weapons, would choosing PEN Red Nose > C10 > Fallen God be the most silver savings which can rather be used to upgrade weapons and achieve a usable AP + DP spread for more efficient mid-game grinding?
Its a very solid idea, personally i think i would try and take advantage of the very cheap PEN boss armor prices that are there right now, as a result of the Magnus pen. Should be many bils saved sorted out the full armor set asap. Caphras are max price now anyway
Great guide except one thing imo, no way Im farming over 40b that early in my journey for those distos (over 50b here in SA actually). Im a 290/358 newbie, still no distos.
An accuracy accessory isn't really needed for PVE? Stuck at 291 AP atm with dual PEN crescents and PEN ogre and looking to replace my TET dawn with PEN tungrad or something. 1-2 caphras levels in my dandy will get me to the 297 bracket. Currently my cheapest option.
Is the guaranteed ring still the best choice? On EU console the Narc is 59b Max but the ring is 'only'(lol) 44b Max Also for me, i’ve already got pen and tri capotia rings (season and level 62 reward) so ring seems even less worth it from my perspective! I kinda screwed up and took the tungrad from Jetina but she doesn't have the quest to swap it out which is annoying but if I find it I may swap to narc, maybe xD
I would recommend you get a regular TET boss gear item or items to tap while you do the reform ones, cause you'll eventually stack up Crons (J hammer too) just by daily rewards, event rewards (codes) and the dice game, and you'll also get 150 stacks (also with codes) to do some Pen taps. I hate RNG but I tapped my Kutum to Pen with the things I just mentioned and was pretty much free.
A bit late but wanted to ask. I've already bought a market PEN Kutum before watching this, since I thought Nouver will be a good secondary for PVP. Yet I've never encountered and interested on it in these past 4 months lol. I'm at 273 AP with Dande R4 and PEN Kutum (Awak DK). Should I sell the PEN Kutum and swap the Nouver R0 to Kutum and push it to R4? Since with the extra silvers from selling the Kutum could push my Dande R4 to PEN. Although one thing, when I compared it in the gear planner, since PEN Kutum has 4 more monster AP, my build now at 273 compared to when I swap (it'll be at 276), I still lose 2 total monster ap (582.5 vs 580.5). Which will be best for going forward? Since on your planner I see you keep the Kutum R4 'til the end.
nah just keep the kutum. Its never really worth selling an item to downgrade. Keep using the kutum for pve too, its quite abit better than nouver, and it keeps getting better (compared to nouver) the more AP you get. Remember it also gives you accuracy and more DP

It is logical to sell it in order to get enough silver for a TET Blackstar mainhand so that I can use my J Hammers with 160 fs, right? They are about to expire, so I really need your opinion on that :D Is there any reason for me to keep my Kzarka at this point? I'm 272 / 274 / 322 by the way. Gonna play Succession Lahn for PvE.

Good content as always,but personally,I don’t think disto is necessary now。For PVE,high end spot like Olun、gyfin underground both are kamasylvia spot,which is beneficial fo r narc,without disto around 281AP is good to grinding orc or sycraria etc..;for PVP,after 309ap brackets ap scales much worse,it’s not that hard to reach with a nouver and running DR build;the only situation I think disto is needed is running Eva with two disto,can being flexible with kutum、acc offhand or Eva offhand 。
This is just incorrect. When i add in the distos, the trade off to PEN narcs, is 19ap, 4acc for 18dr (at the cost of 53bil). If you need the DR, just use defensive artifacts, which can give you 18 monster dr, at the cost of only 12 monster ap. Or 30 dr combo, at the cost of 18 monster ap.
What's the Reformed TET Kutum? Jetina rank5 without doing the last exchange to PEN Kutum? Overall, the main issue for the guide is being too PvE focused ... TET BS + TET Kutum ... brrrr ... TET Nouver instead (and PEN Kzarka)!
Reform level 4 is all you need, it gives you the 2ap and 2dp like PEN has. Just way cheaper. Its main pve focused, yes, but i do cover pvp and nouver in the guide! No need to make a full guide on that tho, but yes as i mention, you should get a nouver for pvp if you are DR.
Yep, they have been going up really hard in price. They used to sit around 18-22bil (on NA), so its quite a jump. Luckily the are buffing Stars End by ALOT in regards to disto drop rate, so we can hope that will help drive the tet price down a little bit over time :\
is it not better to just buy the red gear that has similar stats with lvl 0 like my narchillian gear ? one piece is about 15 billion but i would skip a lot of steps i think, yeah the downside is, one such item to buy, will take me about a month probably haha but i think its a way better experience overall but i am not sure, i am new to the game. please let me know if my logic isnt sound.
Nope it is very fine to do! It depends what you prefer to do, a lot of people like to make some gains every few days or every week, others like to save up over a few weeks/month and buy the item out right. Either thing works!
You can talk to Jetina, and exhange it a total of 2 times. So you can turn it into a Cres, and then sometime down the road, if you need to, you can still change it back to a tung or narc
261ap, after season, you can archive with 1-2 weeks (could do it faster, but limited because of the weekly quest to upgrade your weapon to pen). 269 is doable easily within the first month of graduating Season, assuming ofc, that you play regularly. In terms of graduating, you should NOT do it untill you have full pen tuvala armor and weapons. After that, you can graduate whenever, but, you miss out on utilizing the Season Servers. Its up to you at that point

c4 is useless as its only +1 eva. also you can totally grind orcs with 331dp, just gotta know what you are doing

Hey! Yep, they can indeed, and several things has changed in how you can acquire some of these items (Magnus for a FREE Pen armor, Free TET Blackstar at lvl 61 etc), but the actual order and builds remain the same. Ill make an updated video soon.
One VERY important change, is to NOT invest into pen boss weapons, but to use blackstar (or godr) mainhand and awakening weapon. Check out my Weapons Video for more info on this. Rest should be just fine!

Didn't see this guide in a timely manner and I got exchanged by default muskan instead of urus, is there any way I can change them? Tried with the seasonal ticket or whatever its name is, but it still gives me muskan :/

Kzarka mainhand. For offhand, you want a kutum for pve, and a nouver for pvp.

Another thing, I took Dim Tree armour but won’t touch it, I'll wait until I have the resources to switch to Red Nose, insta lvl 10 caphra and swap to fallen god.
Reason for this is I play Kuno and she's so damn squishy that the extra 8 Eva and and 9DR from tet to pen ain't gonna stop her being 1 shotted in pvp but that extra 200hp is nice to have for pve and finally I wanna save on caphras at the end of the day xD

Either the most expensive one, if you are planning on buying the rest. Alternatively Griffen helmet or Red Nose armor - cant go wrong with those!

Nothing :) You just get the free pen as one of the armors. Get the Griffon Helmet or the Red Nose / dim tree if you dont have it already at pen.
Since that's something to consider for fg.
Does the helmet also have different caphras prices for c10 or are they the same?

Question why do you recommend now make blackstar weapon for succession? Why not kzarka anymore?

Both are totally valid! The value of Kzarka comes from being able to put Caphras in to it. The longer you dont do that, the more value the Blackstar has over it. Since its one of the first items to get in my updated guide, most new players (which is who the guide is aimed at), will have ALOT of value from it in PvE, before potentially switching to a Kzarka and caphraing it up.
If you already have a kzarka, keep it!

Hey Biceps - so mate, with the PEN reward from Magnus now available and having only started the reform process on Jetina's weapons, would choosing PEN Red Nose > C10 > Fallen God be the most silver savings which can rather be used to upgrade weapons and achieve a usable AP + DP spread for more efficient mid-game grinding?
Its a very solid idea, personally i think i would try and take advantage of the very cheap PEN boss armor prices that are there right now, as a result of the Magnus pen. Should be many bils saved sorted out the full armor set asap.
Caphras are max price now anyway

Great guide except one thing imo, no way Im farming over 40b that early in my journey for those distos (over 50b here in SA actually). Im a 290/358 newbie, still no distos.
An accuracy accessory isn't really needed for PVE?
Stuck at 291 AP atm with dual PEN crescents and PEN ogre and looking to replace my TET dawn with PEN tungrad or something.
1-2 caphras levels in my dandy will get me to the 297 bracket. Currently my cheapest option.
Why I use Guardian Succ with 307 ap and don’t doing enough damage in pvp to mostly players on Arsha? They survive my combo.
Is the guaranteed ring still the best choice? On EU console the Narc is 59b Max but the ring is 'only'(lol) 44b Max
Also for me, i’ve already got pen and tri capotia rings (season and level 62 reward) so ring seems even less worth it from my perspective!

I would recommend you get a regular TET boss gear item or items to tap while you do the reform ones, cause you'll eventually stack up Crons (J hammer too) just by daily rewards, event rewards (codes) and the dice game, and you'll also get 150 stacks (also with codes) to do some Pen taps. I hate RNG but I tapped my Kutum to Pen with the things I just mentioned and was pretty much free.

A bit late but wanted to ask. I've already bought a market PEN Kutum before watching this, since I thought Nouver will be a good secondary for PVP. Yet I've never encountered and interested on it in these past 4 months lol. I'm at 273 AP with Dande R4 and PEN Kutum (Awak DK).
Should I sell the PEN Kutum and swap the Nouver R0 to Kutum and push it to R4? Since with the extra silvers from selling the Kutum could push my Dande R4 to PEN.
Although one thing, when I compared it in the gear planner, since PEN Kutum has 4 more monster AP, my build now at 273 compared to when I swap (it'll be at 276), I still lose 2 total monster ap (582.5 vs 580.5). Which will be best for going forward? Since on your planner I see you keep the Kutum R4 'til the end.
nah just keep the kutum. Its never really worth selling an item to downgrade. Keep using the kutum for pve too, its quite abit better than nouver, and it keeps getting better (compared to nouver) the more AP you get. Remember it also gives you accuracy and more DP

It is logical to sell it in order to get enough silver for a TET Blackstar mainhand so that I can use my J Hammers with 160 fs, right? They are about to expire, so I really need your opinion on that :D Is there any reason for me to keep my Kzarka at this point? I'm 272 / 274 / 322 by the way. Gonna play Succession Lahn for PvE.
Yes, its actually worth doing that, and even re-selling it at TET if it fails. Or you could ofc use it if you want to :)

If it helps you hit some important brackets, it could be fine yes. Distos are very expensive, but tungrads are placeholders.
So I play succ ninja on console 282kut and 335 dp all pen Eva. Does it make more sense to get my dim to c10 for fallen god because I have a flame or go for more ap? We don’t have Veil heart and Garm are extremely rare. I’ve been building stacks for pen bs attempt but that is very costly to cron
the video was out for awhile and i looked it earlier but now i wounder i have the "Heart of Karanda" if i use it to get a Storm devourered awk weapon can i make it to have 2 slots by getting 2 hearts or do i need a garmoth heart and to forget about this rare drop ?
You need a Garmoth to get 2 crystal slots.

r narc,without disto around 281AP is good to grinding orc or sycraria etc..;for PVP,after 309ap brackets ap scales much worse,it’s not that hard to reach with a nouver and running DR build;the only situation I think disto is needed is running Eva with two disto,can being flexible with kutum、acc offhand or Eva offhand 。
Distos are too much Dr loss imho for a DR build you are losing 16 dp vs narcs for like 10ap at Tet.
This is just incorrect. When i add in the distos, the trade off to PEN narcs, is 19ap, 4acc for 18dr (at the cost of 53bil). If you need the DR, just use defensive artifacts, which can give you 18 monster dr, at the cost of only 12 monster ap. Or 30 dr combo, at the cost of 18 monster ap.
What's the Reformed TET Kutum? Jetina rank5 without doing the last exchange to PEN Kutum?
Overall, the main issue for the guide is being too PvE focused ... TET BS + TET Kutum ... brrrr ... TET Nouver instead (and PEN Kzarka)!
Reform level 4 is all you need, it gives you the 2ap and 2dp like PEN has. Just way cheaper.
Its main pve focused, yes, but i do cover pvp and nouver in the guide! No need to make a full guide on that tho, but yes as i mention, you should get a nouver for pvp if you are DR.
What about artifact/lghtstones? They kinda appeared mid video

Yep, they have been going up really hard in price. They used to sit around 18-22bil (on NA), so its quite a jump. Luckily the are buffing Stars End by ALOT in regards to disto drop rate, so we can hope that will help drive the tet price down a little bit over time :\

how to get pen gear and tet accs? its so hard
is it not better to just buy the red gear that has similar stats with lvl 0 like my narchillian gear ? one piece is about 15 billion but i would skip a lot of steps i think, yeah the downside is, one such item to buy, will take me about a month probably haha but i think its a way better experience overall but i am not sure, i am new to the game.

Nope it is very fine to do! It depends what you prefer to do, a lot of people like to make some gains every few days or every week, others like to save up over a few weeks/month and buy the item out right. Either thing works!

You can talk to Jetina, and exhange it a total of 2 times. So you can turn it into a Cres, and then sometime down the road, if you need to, you can still change it back to a tung or narc
how much time does it take from season to 261ap and to 269ap?? also when should i graduate my season character?
261ap, after season, you can archive with 1-2 weeks (could do it faster, but limited because of the weekly quest to upgrade your weapon to pen). 269 is doable easily within the first month of graduating Season, assuming ofc, that you play regularly.
In terms of graduating, you should NOT do it untill you have full pen tuvala armor and weapons. After that, you can graduate whenever, but, you miss out on utilizing the Season Servers. Its up to you at that point

yep this is how you wanna gear for pvp too. After my guide ends, you can start making some build variations
