The funicular with intelligent levelling I mentioned in this video is this one... th-cam.com/video/3sjyeHb8YTc/w-d-xo.html This is the only funicular I have ever seen with intelligent levelling. Does anyone know of any others?
The Funambule in Neuchâtel has a funky pulley compensation mechanism to deal with the fact that the trajectories of the 2 cabins are not equal - more to your point, there's the Stoosbahn \m/
Thanks for the explanation. I've been wondering about the accelerated position display. My theory was pure vanity of the manufacturer. As if they wanted to pretend to go faster than they actually do. But showing the next destination early so that people in the car can get ready to get out makes much more sense.
11:2915:19 finally you found some more sec lifts!!! the ones you found appear to be the early 2000s model which ive only seen in slovenia. in the uk you get the late 2000s model (such as the ones you get in house of fraser in westfields with the stupid voice) and the 2010s model (like the one in the wierd cheap lifts video) and theres even a sec funicular that goes in a cave. and ive always wondered why they have the triangle key as the logo. notice how the orona in the castle is maintained by SUS - the company that took over sec and the logo is arrows that are the shape of the inside of a triangle key! did you film anymore lifts in slovenia?
Could you do a video about how to escape lift shafts if you cant reach the door rollers and the lift doesnt move in inspection(you once said something about this scenario in detailed look at ecodisc) Im not planning on doing any lift surfing, but Im just interested what you would do in that case.
I find it quite weird. When recording a Kone LCE lift, I have to quickly move the camera to the indicator before the doors fully close otherwise to show the indicator change, otherwise the video would give the perception of the lift being slower than it actually is.

That funicular lift is pretty epic. Very nice city I have to say. There is a green dragon mascot that is so popular on social media.
If a Kone lift has floor passing chime, the indicator is still accelerated while the floor passing chime is in sync
I've seen an LCE with abosulte positioning once before. You can actually enable or disable it, it's menu 7 option 83, 0 = advance, 1 = absolute.
Well of done correctly it could be quite a neat feature and wuite usefull for knowing how far it is from your floor
You should visit Sarajevo in Bosnia Herzegovina next. Lots of interesting buildings.
Yes, especially Avaz Twist Tower that has 6m/s Kones
In Serbia there are 2 towers with 6m/s lifts
Ljubljana is a beautiful city, I hope you explored the grotty suburb tower blocks
Amazing. I find it funny that it sounds like the lift says: le stupid at 6:37
Nice, you went to Slovenia!
Really cool and interesting, keep it up!
Can you do another shaftless lift?
Very nice adventure
2:16 Are there 2 podium levels? Because I'm getting confused.

I don't like the kone accelerated+1 position. it just seems wrong to me.
