That means that he threw EVERYONE under the bus whether it’s the kid who just got a guitar for Christmas this year, the band that plays in a local bar on Saturday nights, or a mainstream act that is selling out arenas right now. These “lost causes” paid his fucking bills and NOW he wants to say he has “no interest” in the matter? He said it with his whole chest. There ain’t no sarcasm here
Nah it's a pretty lame thing to say no matter how you slice it, chief.
@2:15 were you sitting there recording, editing, upload, and marketing his videos? That was his effort put out there that happened to resonate with an audience. You act like he didn't contribute to his own success.
@@cameroncorrosive925 if musicians didn’t exist, he’d have nothing to talk about. He even said he tried to do videos based on marketing and business and they went nowhere. If it wasn’t for musicians, he’d have nothing bag. We literally paid his bills 🤷🏻♂️ yeah he did the editing and filming on his own n he was damn good at it, but he wouldn’t be Jack shit without the musicians he talked about.
Finn said all of this on the SteveOGrock podcast 6 months ago th-cam.com/video/KOy0ya_SzeE/w-d-xo.html
Wow!
Jesus fing christ
Idc tbh, all of his videos were well researched, and the material was presented very well. And he was a charismatic on screen personality
Agreed, and I loved that about him. I just hate that it didn’t come from passion. Only monetary gain. I feel used. You know?
All he really did was skim over Wikipedia, he literally admitted to this too lmao
@@MattCantuMusic Not everyone has to be passionate, or have the same level of passion you do about a subject that isn't how that works. You think most businesses exist because those people care about a community? They want income.
@@cameroncorrosive925 Okay so If a doctor were to come up to you and say “you’re a lost cause. I hate my patients. I’m only doing this for the money” that would be a justifiable response? No. It’s unprofessional and frankly, that doctor shouldn’t be practicing. No passion in healthcare leads to negligence and possibly even death. If he truly felt that way about music, which he obviously does, he should’ve kept that to himself. Not publicly state it. This is why capitalism sucks because all capitalists want is to such is dry and get their bag. Money is the root of all evil
@@cameroncorrosive925 that’s why capitalism is kind of a doomed system. Because the profit incentive should not be the sole decider of why people do what they do.
Psycho
If you watched his stuff (for free) and enjoyed it while he made money, what exactly is the problem? At the end of the day, a guy you've suddenly decided you don't like is going away. So, once again.............what's the problem....? He's going away. You're getting what you want. This weird need for public figures to prostrate themselves and beg for our forgiveness is so unbelievably childish. He doesn't owe anyone anything...
First of all, I never said he owes us anything and I’m not even asking for his forgiveness lol. My main concern with Finn right now is the fact that he referred to “musicians” in general as “lost causes” when in reality, musicians fueled the very content he capitalized on. If it wasn’t for us, he’d have no bread on the table and no diapers for his daughter. He also used “musicians” as a generalized statement. Which is just as wild of a statement as well because if a doctor would’ve said “patients are lost causes, I’m only doing this for the money” they would’ve been met with the same criticism and they probably wouldn’t be practicing either. It’s fucked
@@MattCantuMusic Equating a dude who made YT videos about Ronnie Radke to a medical doctor saving people's lives should be enough to tell you you're taking this FAR too seriously. If he's as big a piece of trash as people are making him out to be, then his opinion is meaningless and will fade into obscurity with time. But hey! Might as well get a few views out of it in the mean time...
