- Welcome to our video on the best motorcycle ever made, the Kawasaki Z H2! In todays episode, I need your help in figuring out whether I should keep this motorcycle after my finance is due. Should I seriously consider getting rid of the best motorcycle? What should I do? Let me know in the comments!

Thanks for watching.
Put it this way - for £10k you're buying a 2nd hand bike that you know it's history. Would you be able to buy a used ZH2 in the same condition for that price?
Precisely.
Any bike you put in storage is a waste of time, it will only get ridden once or twice a year at the most. I've been down that route, you never ride them half as much as you think you will. You would be better off hiring the bike, test riding it from a dealership or just find someone with the bike and do a bike swap on a ride out.
Goblin, would you consider getting a Gen 3 hayabusa? If not, why not? Do you think the comfort on the busa would be just as good as on the Z H2?
If you want extended the content, find a dealer willing to give you an extended demo and use them as a channel sponsor like everyone else does.
the only problem with a h2 is where do you go from there? How will anything ever complete? Anything you get will never match up... the only way you can go is something completely different like a dual sport off roader. Anything you get that is remotely similar will just be ruined... you may as well start out again on a 125 to reset your brain. Thats the reason i've shyed away from getting one, trying my hardest to resist... my next bikes gonna be a cb1000r I think, which is a reasonable power jump for me but probably wont feel any different in the low to mid range so shouldn't ruin me for less powerful bikes I'm accustomed to I hope.
When i pop my clogs ,my zh2 is being buried with me ,that's how much I love it 😊
The 125cc probably done better because of the learning to ride lessons, I for one used them to help get me through my tests, especially the clutch control, to be honest the other bikes I can take or leave , I'm not here for the bike itself ,
So don't worry about it, just think of cool things to do regardless of bike,
As for asking advice from us about what to do lol, you'll get nowhere, everyone will have a different opinion, only person you need to consider is the wife, or you'll not be fit to ride lol
if you have the intent on sticking with trying new and different motorcycles especially for youtube id say get rid of it, you still have all the memories associated with it and you've made a lot of content with it, you can always do your educational videos on another bike and it would open up more oportunities for ride reviews andd pillion reviews later down the line :) i do think you should stick with having at least one naked bike though, they're always a refreshing sight to see over the typical sport styled bikes
It would be awesome to keep it long term. It is such a special bike that you have had from new. It will be disappointing for you to replace it with anything similar that just isn’t as special. If you do sell ,I think you would have to replace it with a different type/style of bike that won’t compete with the memory of the H2.
Just wondering do all you're bikes have faulty indicators as you seem to spend the entire ride cancelling none flashing indicators
I was thinking that on his last video, wtf is he fiddling with??
It's just a habit of mine, is it really a big deal? Lol
@GoblinRides no big deal. Just curious, I know it killed the cat 🤣🤣
I've just watched your video on the Daytona 955i which you were very excited about. The question I have is, although the HS2 is a good bike, is it better than 2 or 3 older bikes which could be bought for the £10k? Do you also have the space to keep a good number of bikes? I have 5, none exceptional (maybe the 955i), however I'd rather have a number of good bikes rather than one exceptional bike.
That's exactly the dilemma I have. Do I keep one expensive bike that's really good, or do I buy multiple multiple cheaper bikes that are good if not just as good as the H2. Thing is, these days I do want a varied experience, rather than just the H2 all the time, so I think the latter maybe the answer. Thanks for the comment.
To understand how this works,if you don't pay it off you will loose everything you gave so far?Still the 10.000 left seem quite significant...Personally i wouldn't want to be in dept that much for one bike. And thankfully for me i do prefer the bikes from 90's way more than the new ones. At some point planning to get a ZXR-750 1992+ or the ZX9R 95-97 1st model, that was imo the best.
So happy i don't have a loan on my z-h2...😊
yeah 4 years and STILL would own 10k on it. SMH
PCP is a load of BS, save your cash and buy a Bike cash , Cannot be beat 👍
If you really want to keep it for you go for it. If you want to grow the channel and keep up with releases it needs to go. That being said begginer content always does well. So good luck
I mean honestly if it is your definite favourite bike to ride maybe you should consider keeping it, for now these h2 bikes are unique in the market being the only bikes boosted from stock. I would say do what your heart tells you, just choose the option that you feel you won't regret.
I sold my Corvette to get my ZX-14r. I had a chance to buy a Z-H2 but wasn't as comfortable to me and it's too wheelie prone, not into that. If you really like that bike that much, start selling some other motorcycles and pay it off.
At the end of the day, it's your decision. If I really liked the bike that much, then yes I would definitely find a way to keep it. If you decide one day you're not into the bike as much as you use to be then sell it. Its very hard to give up a bike that you love riding. I get the financial end of it. If you don't try, you may be kicking yourself after the fact that you didn't.
Bikes are not rational purchases so tend to be fickle. Lot of bike for £10k and only 3k miles though would be hard to find one as good as that perhaps, for me three questions not necessarily in order of priority 1. Do I like and want to keep the bike? 2. Can I afford it? 3. Is there another bike option I prefer? Will be interesting see what you decide.
Keep it
3 Years+ riding, 3 Years no claims, insurance on a H2. £1500-2000+. Insurance on a new MT10, 2023-2024? like £500.
I'd love this to be an option for me instead of an MT10 but insurance is just wild on them :(
Here ya go Goblin, sell it and get the 2025 honda cb 1000 hornet. For what you get from the h2, you can just about pay for the hornet
Not a bad shout my friend 👍
those loan are a scam, i paid mine 14k€/11600 pounds with only 1500km/930miles in 2022 (with akra exhaust and tail tidy) , she was brand new and style is
the only bike that tempting me right now is the new s1000r/m1000r they look really really good, but i will swap my mt09 for it not the zh2
how much have you already spend on your zh2 during those 4 years ?
How are they a scam?
They really are not a scam, they're a good way to get a new bike/car and all that comes with it at a reasonable price.
@@flibbertigibbet6200 if he give up the bike it's 4 years of payment that goes into the bin if he buy it he almost lost 10k in the process
@sural89 it's the same if you buy it brand new with cash, You will have to save years just to get the 17k for the bike, this will then depreciate like a lead brick, after 4yrs will have lost approx 7k! In that time if you want another new bike, you must be saving in the background to make up the lost 7k. Or you decide to keep hold of it and keep losing money, and that means you just need more money to replace it like for like. So over 4 yrs you either lose 21k ie 17k down,7k lost in depreciation 7k to make up loss for another new bike, if say 10k left in the bike. Where on pcp you would pay, let's say £160pm over 4yrs would be approx 7.5k plus maybe 1k down or so 8.5k then give it back and go again on a new one. No you will never own the bike but you do get a brand new bike and warranty etc, or keep it and keep paying 160pm until you own it. Joys of buying a brand new toy.
I would say sell it but that depends on how much ur emotionally invested in it. I would love to see.an early busa on the channel . 😮
So my comment got deleted.....i would have at least expected some sort of short debate?
Not deleted by me sorry, must have been dumb auto YT moderators. What was your comment?
I'd get a personal loan and buy it. Would still be worth more than the loan. Good debt.
I'm in Gloucester, give you 8k for it 👍.
Sell it , you’ve got as good a Bike as that one avent you , ZZR 1400 😊
and what about your zzr
Your probably gonna regret asking the question keep or get rid, some will say keep and some will say get rid. Your gonna be even more confused.
Don't be a slave to debt.
If I'm gonna go in that much debt to pay it off, I would give it back, then buy a new one, that way you don't get rid of the bike brand and pay to KEEP the next one.
This time of year is allways crappy for bikers it’s something we have to put up with in the uk 🥲 if u still get on the ZH2 and rip it down the rd and u go wow and start laughing then it’s a keeper I won’t never sell mine abbsolute weapon plus it easy keeps up with my mates sports 1000s
