My first time seeing them was on the Defenders Of The Faith tour. One of the best live vocal performances I ever saw live...and I've seen A LOT!!! Great job ladies!!! 🍻👏🤟
Have to agree with Donna 100%. Got to love some Judas Priest. Absolute legends.Great song and a great reaction (as always). Keep up the good work, girls. Looking forward to the next one. Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺🤘
I heard their “Stained Glass” CD for the first time this year and now I can’t get enough of it. Rob likes to invite and involve his audience to sing with him. I think he loves it!
JUDAS PRIEST (Birmingham, England) Line-Up ("Defenders Of The Faith" album, 1984) Rob Halford: Vocals Glenn Tipton: Guitars K. K. Downing: Guitars Ian Hill: Bass Dave Holland: Drums "Defenders Of The Faith" is their ninth studio album released on 13 January 1984 in the US and on 20 January 1984 in the UK. The album was certified platinum by the RIAA, and spawned the singles "Freewheel Burning", "Some Heads Are Gonna Roll" and "Love Bites". The 12" version of the single "Freewheel Burning" contained an extended guitar intro that was omitted on the full-length release. The B-sides of this single are live versions of "Breaking the Law" and "You've Got Another Thing Comin'" recorded at the US Festival from Glen Helen Park, near Devore, San Bernardino in California on 29 May 1983 in front of an approximately audience of 375,000 people. The version of "Breaking the Law" is also the first official version released to feature K.K. Downing's added live guitar solo. Cheers from CHILE dear ladies!!!
I found that extended intro online and mixed it into my audio WAV file - now it is complete. It's really a damn shame they cut it out cos it really sets a tone.
Sadly, I lost my brother in a tragic accident last week. This priest track was his favourite and will be played at his funeral, as well as his own bands music ' the drowning'
You guys might just wanna check out the single "Panic attack" or some other song from JP's "Invincible shield" album that was released this very spring. Just to find out that these guys are far from just dwelling on former glories, but are very much relevant to the scene at present. It's no coincidence that both "Invincible shield" and its predecessor "Firepower" were #1 albums all across the world. (Probably not in the US though, your country sadly doesn't wave the banner of heavy metal like it used to - and what does pass for heavy metal there these days generally makes little impression on the international scene, where we have way cooler fish to fry. With some notable exceptions, though.) Both albums, and to me "Invincible shield" in particular, are downright legacy sequels to "Painkiller" and makes it sound like the latter album was only 1-2 years distant, as opposed to 34.
At 3:20 Goodness gracious hahahaha, Lulu is really funny, she is right, long hair is the best, I have longer hair than Lulu and I will never cut it of. There is quite a bit talking and speculating about down town and package in this video, its really funny, Lulu is more like: Ok, new topic.. and Donna is like: I like it, I LOVE Judas Priest HAHAHA you guys are the best, you help me feeling better in some rough times I am going through... thanks for the video 😄
Good for you guys for finding this footage!! This video is not the norm that you would see whenever you're looking up this song. ...Lol Donna....uuhhh llllikemmm
R.I.P. Dave Holland (drums, former member of Judas Priest)... This was a performance on live British TV in early 1984 when Judas Priest was promoting their new album 'Defenders of the Faith'... following the worldwide success of their 1982 album 'Screaming for Vengeance'... By this point, Judas Priest was next to Iron Maiden as the biggest heavy metal band in the world. The guitar duo of Glenn Tipton and K.K. Downing was one of the best in metal - both lead guitarists and sounded incredible and tight together. And Rob Halford was at the peak of his vocal abilities at the time... years later, he admitted that before 1986, he was drinking heavily and doing drugs, and couldn't recall a lot of the shows because he was 'smashed... but he never missed or mangled a single performance. Ian Hill (bass) has always been the quiet guy in the back, picking his bass and headbanging on the spot... He's still that way onstage today.
@@goodini026 Dave Holland passed away in early 2018 at age 69. He quit Judas Priest in 1989 citing health issues and cut ties w/ the band (It's speculated that Dave Holland was substituted w/ a drum machine on the albums 'Turbo' and 'Ram it down' ... but still did the tours) In the 90's, he did some sessions w/ Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi... but Iommi admitted that Holland was not playing optimally... Unfortunately, Dave Holland did end up in jail in 2004 after being convicted of sexual abuse of a minor whom he was teaching drumming and became a convicted sex offender... However, the victim was a disabled teen and there were claims that an older sibling may have persuaded the mentally-handicapped boy to make those claims. Dave Holland retreated to Spain after his release in 2012, where he died quietly of cancer.
Judas priest 40 years old 1984 Defender of the Faith (is metal music the faith) great lp .the Metal band of heavy metal band. The Metal gods forever only Rob halford and Ian Hill still in the band along the early '70... i'am Italian my first Priest album in 1988 ,16 y old . But my first Hard rock band listen is KISS 8/9 y kid . Metal and Rock is not only genere music , but life stile approach. 🤘🎸
As Donna now is infected by Judas Priest, you definitely should watch the song "Screaming for Vengeance". I am infected since more than 40 years and could recommend many JP Songs. Ladies, i love your videos and reactions. Greetings from Germany
Sometimes I wish I had a vote to send most popular version when I send a video in. I like the 83 US festival version, but Rob makes drug use references at the beginning. Was going to see if Lulu could hold her ears for the first 10 seconds.
If you want a different view of Priest listen to The Last Rose of Summer. Completely different sound and shows the true singer that Rob is. I used this song at my wedding!
I'm also a fan of Judas Priest. Thx for this reaction & ope you will do more of them. Also hope you will do a reaction to Jerry reed - Amos Moses(if you havn't already)
Here is a really good piece with Richie Faulkner, who replaced K. K. Downing on guitar and shows with a great solo that he fits into the team. A terrific performance for the eyes and ears. You've Got Another Thing Coming (Live) - Judas Priest | Epitaph | Front Row Music th-cam.com/video/_yOeTbmE2Wc/w-d-xo.html
Hi Ladies!
Rod halford has three solo albums fight, halford, band called two y'all might like.ps there's a channel called stone meadow doom that y'all might also like.
My first time seeing them was on the Defenders Of The Faith tour. One of the best live vocal performances I ever saw live...and I've seen A LOT!!! Great job ladies!!! 🍻👏🤟
Rob halford will always be the metal god! I love his voice! He is my favorite voice in metal and always will be!
6:03 😂 Ha Ha I knew it.
Donna, you are so funny and always makes me laugh out loud. 😅
There’s only one singer who would dare sing that fast. He’s also the only singer I’ve heard who ramps up the power as he holds a note.
Have to agree with Donna 100%. Got to love some Judas Priest. Absolute legends.Great song and a great reaction (as always). Keep up the good work, girls. Looking forward to the next one. Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺🤘

Great reaction ladies! Tremendous song and performance from the band. They were on fire!
Ty Tom and ladies. What a track! My God, Rob.

KK didn't just play rhythm guitar. He played lead too. In fact, those twin lead guitars is one of the things that Judas Priest are famous for.
K.K. just plays rhythm guitars in "Freewheel Burning"
Cheers!

I tell you what Donna sure loves Judas priest so thank you for reminding us again Donna lol much love Cathy ❄️🫶🐻
Sadly, I lost my brother in a tragic accident last week. This priest track was his favourite and will be played at his funeral, as well as his own bands music ' the drowning'
We are so sorry for your loss.
I saw Judas Priest in 1984. What a great band! Rob Halford belted out the notes as the band played. One of the many concerts I saw in high school.
I saw them too around that time at Kalamazoo wings stadium, was the defenders of the faith tour. Rob was killing it
83 for me, San Bernardino US festival, 300,000 screaming head bangers that day. My all time fave band.
