I don't understand it exactly, at minutes 7:20 it's exactly the same for me, I don't have a dongle, only the key is visible, but how did you manage to install it, I don't understand it, can you please explain it to me, I just can't get it
My laptop has also a round USB C connection. Can I connect the unit with a USB C to USB C cable? I mean both ends being USB C. I know you keep referring to your own “usb c” cable but in effect you really mean round “usb c” to square “usb 3.1” connector.
I am wondering the same thing. Mine has also round type c usb connection. Is it suitable if we use type c to type c cable to connect the interface to laptop.. Can someone help ? @SoSoTech
It would be worth mentioning that, strangely, the UR44C and the bigger UR88 do not have this highly sought after mixer knob. Even more strangely, steinberg themselves are not exactly advertising this omission, so everyone is misled thinking that all the models have it. Does anyone know why?
Thanks for showing the software bundle streight on point in under 10 min! Im new to this steinberg elicense software.. do i need to back up something if i reinstall my windows? Or is all in the steinberg account on the website? Really confusing design they have going on there .. Hope you know thanks!
Very good, unfortunately with mine there is no possibility to change to USB 3 super speed (greyed out) even though I am using a USB 3 cable -> can you help me out?
Yes, you are not in fact using a USB3 cable. Or the USB port on your computer is not a USB3 port. Or you need to update some kind of motherboard driver (chipset driver). I used to think I own USB3 USB-C cables and because of the UR22C I learned that that was wrong. I had to buy new cables. On amazon, cable sellers intentionally write "3" in their product titles and descriptions to trick you into thinking that they are USB3 cables. They especially love writing "3.1A" which stands for 3.1 Ampere. I fell for it myself once.
@@SoSoTechTube Hi, many thanks for your reply. The USB cable is 3, also the USB slots on the PC are real 3. Maybe I have to check your input with the chipset driver...
i got a proper USB-3 cable in the box with my UR44C. make sure your PC has those USB3 port, sometimes coloured blue. and your OS has it's motherboard manufactureres USB3 drivers installed.
Ah, you mean the NT-1? (rode Sm6 seems to be the shock mount) I also got the NT-1 set with the AI-1 (didn't like the interface too much). So I'm guessing you didn't find the switch for phantom power yet? It's on the back but I'm sure you found this in the past 3 days :D
Is someone chasing you? I paused the clip a million times to get what you meant. Next time, I ll do a tech clip on something you don't know and rush it through (because I will know it and do it even quicker than you) for you to see what it feels like. Also, the Yamaha Steinberg USB Control Paneld and the spMixFx UR-C application do not automatically appear on the desktop as a shortcut. One must dig into the start menu and fish it from the Steinberg UR C folder. It would help if it is mentioned.
Seems like you're the only one with the issue of having to pause the video in order to absorb the info. This video helped me (without having to pause) and a lot of others here so maybe we should thank him vs accusing him?
@@maxdominguez5543 it may surprise some people but I was not helped by this video. On the contrary I was helped a lot by some other guy’s clip and I thanked him instead.
at first, 48khz causes you glitches so you choose 96khz instead ?!! then you use guitar amp modeling (distortion & overdrive) on your voice and you’re wondering why you sound awful ?!! Dude you’re in the wrong profession.
tons of videos and yours only one could help. simple and effective😊

dspMixFx got installed but not opening! Please help
TKS A LOT FOR THIS VIDEO I BOUGHT UR22C 1 YEAR AGO BUT STILL DID NOT WORK WITH SO NOW I CAN START TKS A LOT
Hai can i ask. This app only can be used by steinberg audio interface?
Every thing works, but when i open dsp mix, then it doesnt find my device. I dont know why
It might be the driver
In recording, is it possible with dspMixFx to give a singer a touch of reverb in their headphones (for pitch and tuning) without recording it please?
yes. the ur22c has DSP reverb built in. you can add reverb as a monitor for tracking, or record it directly into the vocal channel.
@@mix1ro Thanks. I found the manual a bit dense!
@@GavinAtkin steinberg definitely did a horrible job at their walkthroughs. their hardware is amazing though once you learn it.
Can you use UR22C in stand alone mode like a guitar multi-effects ?
Hello. If you can help me please. In the control panel i dont see LINE. i see only daw music voice
Pomogłeś mi . Dziękuję
Is it possible to use this without a laptop and just as a preamp for microphones straight into speakers
Not compatible with Windows 7???
this was most helpful. even trying to find the help/manual was difficult. you lead me to it.

For a few seconds, I thought you are Unfa, your voice sounds really similar. Do you know him? He is one of the linux music production tutorial guys.

This is a very helpful video! Thank you for posting!!! 👍👍👍
My volume knob for UR44c is not working, but i have updated the firmware to 2.01 already, is there solution for that?

99% of the effects are rubbish but the one useful one, if you can get it to work is the compressor.
