When I think of classy, it has nothing to do with wealth. I think of a woman who has an effortless look without displaying designer logos. No bra or bra straps showing. Minimal looking makeup. Someone who does not try too hard. You can have class without wealth and wealth without class. She carries herself with confidence and treats everyone with respect.
Exactly! To be classy cannot be bought. I have met some rich people who had no class, used bad language, showed off their expensive clothes and shoes, looked down on less fortunate people. Our Lisa is classy and kind, and this is the latter quality which drew me to her channel.
I really need to watch this about 100 times. I came out of a horrible depression that was most of my life 2 years ago. I am just now at 53 wanting to reinvent myself. The outside to resemble my new inside. Thank you for your beautiful videos.🥰
The two things my mom has always reminded me: Classy ladies don’t wear flip flops if not going to the pool or the beach. Classy ladies don’t wear leggings or Athleisure unless going to the gym.
This is all indicative of my look, because I love classic dressing - NOT because I’m wealthy! (At least not financially rich - I’m rich in life, friends, family, career 😊❤️). I just love timeless, classic style, regardless of trends. (And I’m really not into labels or logos.)
My mom always told me to pay the most attention and put the most money into your handbag, shoes, and jewelry. And if you do that, you instantly elevate the cost and look of an inexpensive classic outfit. And she always told me (when dating) to pay attention to a man’s shoes and watch. That those two items can tell a lot about someone. I think those tips served me well through my 20’s and beyond.
Your last tip was the best. For some reason people believe that wealthy women are snobby and rude. In my experience, it has been the exact opposite. Like you said, the more secure and confident, a woman is, the nicer and less judge mental. She will be. This is also the same with attractiveness. beautiful women have always been the kindest and most inclusive towards me. They don’t see me as a threat. They know who they are. Standing next to a beautiful woman does not make you look any less attractive. Studies have actually proven that being surrounded by beautiful people actually makes you appear more attractive.
Rich isn’t what you wear or what you have! It’s how you feel about yourself and the light you put out in the world towards other people. I for one dress to impress myself and could not give one one flip if people think I have a dime. Not one to pretend either. Gotta say some of the people we know with boo cues of money you’d just not know it. But you do you boo and I’ll do me!
In my experience there's a huge difference between wealth and class, and also old wealth and new wealth. After living in London for 6 years in my 20s, the one thing you do not see, with class, is logos. If one thinks of Catherine Middleton there are never any logos or brand names in her style, which is not to say she doesn't wear designer, because of course she does, but you don't see it. Class will always opt for the best fabrics, the perfect fit, excellent grooming. But that's Britain, and things are somewhat different in the U.S., and also with the rise of social media, there's much more of a tendency for average people to aspire to designer labels, and to show them off. It's a tricky question, but in the end it really comes down to decent grooming, dressing appropriately for any occasion, and excellent manners with a big dash of kindness, interest in others and not taking it all too seriously 😀
I will add a couple things-wealth often does not imply class and some of the classiest women I know are not wealthy. Having expensive items does not always guarantee class as you know. The only area I disagree with you is flip flops-even Gucci. I know you live near the beach but in the city I live-wuite large and growing one-we live in/near the very wealthiest neighborhoods, lots of old money for sure. I never see women near our age wearing flip flops except when leaving the nail salon/spa or at the club in the pool area. Rarely even a thong type sandal. Occasionally something such as then Hermes Oran or a Birkenstock (not my favorite )sandal with a pair of linen shorts or dress on the hottest of days and we hover in the 90s most of the summer.
Low slung chinos with a fitted tank-always comfortable and classic- depending on footwear…sandals, cowboy boots, heels, sneakers. Could be preppy, gypsy/hippy, western, rocker chic…super versatile and timeless❤❤❤ loved the haul and inspo Lisa 😊
One point: light blonde hair that's all one color (like the woman with her very blonde hair pulled into a bun) is definitely processed hair. People need to know hair doesn't grow naturally that way. But there's a way to have colored hair that looks classy and chic; not tacky.

Hi Lisa, really good video. I don’t want to look rich, I just want to look classy and put together, whether it’s with expensive pieces or more budget friendly pieces. It’s not about looking rich, just feeling good with what you are wearing.
@@chiefswife1212 Exactly. The uniform. I live in an area where they do exactly this. They all look the same, I can't even tell their names. How beautiful is it to dress like your soul and have character and class and quirkiness?! Ugh. Love it!
over the wkend I went to a posh event full of rich people. The look you're describing seems more like IG wannabes who have no imagination. Rich people enjoy fun things too. I spotted a rich woman first of all because she had a huge long sheepskin coat and you could tell that alone was worth a fortune, and she was carrying a brand new dot Louis bag. The other rich women had plush cashmere roll necks and tailored trousers but the roll necks were in vibrant cobalt blue and purple. One woman had blue streaked hair and a blue coat but again the coat was sheepskin and you can tell real sheepskin from fake plastic imitation. If I see a woman in plain stuff I just think she looks very basic and not necessarily rich. It's the hint of flamboyance and indulgence that gives away richness and sadly it can't be faked. Even someone in white tee black trousers and a rolex I wouldn't assume they're rich. These women though, they exuded wealth. All were perfectly coiffed and manicured though that's for sure. And no scuffed shoes. Though I'm sure they own a pair of golden goose just as casual shoes, as they are £300 a pair. Mind you I'm in London. But the rich women I see (old money and no need to be judged as everyone knows by their surname alone they're rich) don't just walk around in monotone. Also they like patterned scarves. Hermes fun prints. But I enjoyed the video except the ending which I thought sounded silly. Many wealthy people are out of touch and not nice but they just don't realise it and it's not that they're cruel they're just in their own bubble and simply can't relate to someone who can't drop £1000 on a whim.
These points are just telling me that I am on the right track to curating my wardrobe. I love gettingbpointers from classy ladies like you! Class justbspeaks volume, btw you look fabulous!!❤

The post about nails…I own a show horse (imported him from Germany and pricier than most people’s cars) and there are horses at my barn that run into the $250k+ range. I don’t think a single multi-millionaire at my barn has beautiful nails. We all clean up nicely but we come to the barn to ride and get dirty. Horses are gorgeous but roll in poo, mud, shavings and dirt so they’re dirty.
Classical women always wear a scarf somewhere in their outfit: around their neck, in their hair, as a belt, around their wrist or even on their handbag

I don’t feel like a lot of this video is accurate. The nail thing. SO many rich women have long acrylic nails. While it’s a trend that’s slowly fading it was huge. Secondly, rich doesn’t mean classy. There are plenty of rich women that dress terribly and have zero class. The “look rich” thing is just a little off putting. You know I adore you but we probably should have stuck to the word “polished” not rich.
I know what you mean, my mom is very classic with a sporty, beachy twist 🐚 you have to go with your lifestyle and what you like, I like a little glam or edge to mine 💕✨
I think a nice quality leather handbag, belt and shoes with some classic jewelry pieces in gold or silver, such as necklace, bangle bracelets and a watch, one or two real rings maybe some pearl stud earrings can elevate even a white tee and blue jeans. A good manicure and pedicure and classic hair will add to that as well. Being classy to me is more about manners and etiquette, although the way you dress plays into that.

Lisa, I enjoyed your videos I don’t comment a lot on your videos but I do the 👍🏻. This video has been a big mixed of opinions I get exactly what you were saying about dressing, I love how you dress and I know you try to please people, sometimes I think you come across the wrong way by trying to please. I hope you continue to do these videos I think it would be great to do a Walmart, Ross & Belk to look Rich! Just do you just like everyone else does them. Have a Blessed Weekend! ❤
It all just seems so fake though 😂 I've seen so many women who are just stunning while simply dressed...not much makeup..hair and nails neat... simple jewelry and honestly I couldn't tell if they were wealthy or not. I'm assuming someone wanted to know how to "look" rich, or why else would you have done the video? Many of your viewers are not rich so what are they to do with this information? Dream? 😂❤️
There is certainly a difference; I think its the confidence these woman give out; I do think wealthy or rich woman always look pulled together; whether they are going to a soccer game or an evening out; its the cost of the outfit but that way it looks effortless to pull together; I have also found that they stick to a few colors and accessorize with color or prints.
@houston5568 You're right about there being a difference. I believe it has much to do with education, being very sociable with skills/manners learned from childhood, and of course money makes you feel "powerful" I guess you could say 🩷
Hi Lisa What size are your aviator sunglasses? I being wanting to order a pair but I want them over side and I don’t know what size to get. Thank you. 🤗
Lisa, this is a great video. Thank you for sharing your information. My parents taught their children from an early age to always dress well, look clean, polished, be confident, be cultured, be well read, speak articulately, be well braced in conversation, be classy, but never flashy. Never flaunt wealth. Less is always more. We were taught everything at home what financially wealthy people send their children to finishing school to learn. These were traits that were practiced by my ancestors. I am very thankful, and grateful for having parents who taught my siblings, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, including myself and my Young adult children all, and so much more of what you talked about. Cheers to you!
Looking rich, classy has nothing to do with money it's personal style. Labels, I will not make these companies rich don't need labels to look rich. I know many millionaires through my husband's work, Lawyer but really most look out dated.
Of topic- some time ago Lisa mentioned black sneakers with a little bit of brown detail in the back - but I just can’t remember the brand. Can anybody help me out? She said they were ,sexy’ (if that helps) 😊

She is so funny, that girl, there is a person in there! 💖🐱
This says a lot about you ….
This is what is wrong with the world all these people that only care about money …..
Hey Lisa, would you tell me where the white shirt dress is from in your thumbnail? It‘s perfection!😍
love this
Excellent video! Well done!😃
Good ideas!
Lisa this may be just me but there is alot of echo in your videos when the microphone is mot used. Just thought id let you know!
Love your videos, Lisa! I’ll probably re-watch this one… Lots of great ideas! ❤
Why would you care?
Great video 🥂
Hi Lisa What size are your aviator sunglasses? I being wanting to order a pair but I want them over side and I don’t know what size to get. Thank you. 🤗
Wonderful ❤
I LOVE to wear white. I think its so classy. Unfortunately every single time I wear white I inevitably get something right on the front of me! :(
Get a Tida "To Go" stick.
Too bad you didn’t use Melania Trump she’s the epitome of class and elegance.
I think I saw Melania and Jackie O flash by quickly. :)
Looking rich, classy has nothing to do with money it's personal style. Labels, I will not make these companies rich don't need labels to look rich. I know many millionaires through my husband's work, Lawyer but really most look out dated.
The most elegant woman I've seen on TH-cam is Michelle Wang. Her sense of style is impeccable.
What size are your ray bans? 58 or ? Thanks!
Nice video!
Great video 🖤
I'm off to my closet to pull some of these looks together. Thank you, Lisa!!
That's exactly how I dress..all these neutral colors❤️
Rich doesn’t mean classy. Look at Theresa Roemer 😏

Of topic- some time ago Lisa mentioned black sneakers with a little bit of brown detail in the back - but I just can’t remember the brand. Can anybody help me out? She said they were ,sexy’ (if that helps) 😊
They were the New Balance 327 - Color: Black with sea salt. They also come in white.
@@michellekelly2937 Thank you so much, you really helped me. I ‘ll go to search them right now. ❤️
