Hi Jesse, I just discovered your channel yesterday. I got accepted into a paid high-school internship as a UI/UX designer with T-Mobile, and I wanted to study up even more before I start in a couple of weeks. Your style of reaching is incredible, it's to the point without leaving anything out, exactly what I need out of a teacher, so thank you!
I'm currently in the very beginning stages of my UX Design journey! I've recently been wanting to hone my redesign skills and pain points was where I felt I should start to help me and this video is exactly what I was looking for. So thank you and please keep up the hard work you put into your page.
Caleb Towers, I am a UI/UX designer for an employer and all I can say is that I cannot get enough of Jesse's excellent content! It has been so helpful in my young career in this field. Thanks, Jesse for consistently producing such great and valuable content!
Great stuff, saw a link for someone to go through 19 laws and then saw yours for 4 of the important ones and picked this video. Hicks Law at work. I'm an Art Director trying to make the switch to UX/UI and your content helps a lot. Keep up the good work man, cheers!
Teaching myself UX design/web dev so I can move on from working these in person jobs that refuse to pay a living wage and start my own business. Really dig your video style and how you're dispersing information to us!
Hi Key! You sound like you know your stuff! I work at Microsoft with Azure Cloud mostly and am having trouble designing the UI/UX for our new product "Robbed and Shot". Can you help me?
I've just started a tertiary design course and am currently doing the UI/UX module. Watching a video is part of my homework for today and this one was really interesting. Thanks!
Hi Jesse I am Ola From Egypt an Entry level UX Designer I think you're the greatest UX Design Content creator. Your videos helped me a lot in my learning journey so THANK YOU so much and keep going
This is an excellent video, Jesse. I'm a content writer who is diving into the world of Figma and this video is an excellent foundation for understanding UX.
Hi, I’m John waiting for my General Assembly UX/UI class to start Feb 21st. Till then I’m working on sketching & wireframing. I’m a novice and will be staying tuned to your channel more often.
comming from designing UI/UX for games as a game designer, your videos provide good tips and tricks how to handle or watch for in general for UI/UX topics
Hiba, from Lebanon. A junior software developer, interested in UI/UX and currently learning more about the field. It seems interesting so far, wish me luck!
Hi Jesse, first of all thanks for a very informative video! I'd really appreciate it if you could use more examples with all the laws you're talking about - e.g. pages that integrate specific laws particularly well or particularly badly. Keep up the good work :)
hey man, I really appreciate your videos. Very helpful to get this kind of info in simple chunks. Its really time efficient to watch your videos. Keep up the great work. The video you did about the period where design jobs were being cut was helpful to hear another designer expressing the tough times but also giving strategies to improve the designer brand to help attract employers.
I like your way of explaining about ux / ui matters . Especially the video related to Typography. Thanks for creating such amazing videos...waiting for your new updates. I ❤️ that intro music
Brilliant. I expected to see similar stuff in the Google UX course. So far Module 3 - no mention. Love this. I always hate when restaurants have 60 options - surely means less revenue, higher costs.
Saar noiman, from Israel, UI UX designer I got my diploma 3 years ago and until now I'm still searching for a job not as a freelance and hope to find the right place. BTW Thank you for your videos, you 're doing an amazing job
Hi Jessse, Keep sharing your knowledge. I have been learning from you for a year. I hope to take your course in 2023 but for now I love the content you share. 😀 Have a great New Year!
I have a feeling that I have also applied this UX laws without even noticing. Just shows how complex and deep UX design is compared to UI Design. Even tho I have a preference for UI.
Front end developer, often times I get feature requests with extremely vague requirements so the design is basically up to me. It’s helpful to have some guiding principles to use when in doubt 😅
Love you videos Jesse! I am a UX Designer working with a Pharmaceutical company and have recently transitioned into the uX space from Spatial Design where user experience was alaos my primary focus. 1. Any suggestions how best way to speed up learning and application so that I can catch up with the rest of the UX Designers. 2. How does a UX Designer survive in a retail marketing team who are heavily focused on churning out churning out creatives? Join them in creating commercial creatives or move on?
thanks for reminding us to leave a question, I have one that's been on my mind for quite some time but for some reason, I totally forgot to ask. Basically, I'm learning UX/UI design right now, I started with design principles (color psychology, whitespace, contrast ...etc) then I moved to psychology in design, I've been learning about UX laws, human-centered design and just reading different articles and watching videos about digital psychology. Now I'm trying to move to the practical side and go through all the stages of product design (from researching users all the way to creating a mockup), I was wondering how can I practice this process and make it as realistic as possible? To clarify, I believe in order to get really good at something you need to practice THAT thing, but I can't see how I would "practice" empathizing or researching or testing? should I just come up with a hypothetical idea and go through the process as if it's real (I really don't feel like this would help me improve that much, that's why I'm asking this question)? When it comes to practicing UI skills it's quite straightforward, just pick a design and try to improve it or copy a design pixel by pixel (didn't think it'd work for me but this one is really helpful), and to be honest this has helped me get very familiar with typography, colors and boosted my speed when working in Figma My struggle is "how to practice UX" so to speak, any advice? I hope reading this didn't give you a headache😅
I'm actually just researching what I want to do and I was referred to your site. Looking through the comments, I can see I'm in the right place. Would I be better off learning UX design before jumping into web development, or should I start elsewhere? What do you recommend? I am a newborn in this area and would appreciate any and all advice.

Thanks for sharing good content. Your explanation is precise. The UI UX design field has many laws but these ones are some of the most used ones.
This was actually helpful and easily explained.
Excellent, short, targeted UX-101 guide. So much improvement can be achieved just with these 4 laws!
The best & my favourite content on UX Design.
Hi, I am working on changing careers, and this video helped my confidence that I know what I am doing.

I hope reading this didn't give you a headache😅
I love how he syncs up the Like and Subscribe CTAs at the precise second he's talking about the principle in the video. #ProTips 👍
Fewer choices, not less or lesser choices, less ground beef or fewer ground beef. UX includes the language we use when instructing a target.
i was completely ignorant and never thought such laws could exist, this video is a wonder.
i am looking to do a career switch. love these videos as i learn best by knowing the why behind design decisions.
Awesome! Saying hi here! Thanks!
