Jared Leto is pretty fucking dumb in real life. His version of The Joker was basically “what if the joker drank a lot of Mountain Dew code red and was like 10% more retarded than Heath Ledger’s version of The Joker” lol.
So you were in your 20s when the series was aired. Multiply those fluttery feelings by 5 if you had seen it during your teens. I keep on returning to this video every now and then. I'm 31 and wish I were still 16.
This show really knew how to summarize high school and having a crush and finally dating your crush and the perspectives of your peers. WOW. Plus, 90s!! Gotta love it.
Glad Iam not the only one moved by this scene, , so sweet with perfect timing...Jordan looks a bit uncomfortable but knows what he needs to do, Sharon looks concerned, Ricky thinks it sweet, Rayanne is amused, Brian is pissed...perfect expressions from everybody...Classic Show..
This was the most perfect moment in any story ever. I'm 40 and I still tear up. I heard the song "Late at Night" by Buffalo Tom once in the mall while shopping. I cried there too just remembering the scene.
This is honestly the best romantic scene in any tv show. It's so simple on the surface yet so perfectly romantic and has so many implications if you know the characters/context. The music, the way Angela and Jordan look at each other, the way their friends are looking at them, the walking away together like no one and nothing else exists except for them and then the hand holding... perfection.
I was 15 at that time just like Angela. I miss her and I miss the 15 year old me too. This scene was so beautiful, still is. OMG I miss those times so much.
Why is it that the greatest things in life, that are pure genius, always end too soon?! Best show ever!!! One of the best scenes in TV history. I watch an episode almost every night before bed, it does get me nostalgic, but I still get a warm fuzzy feeling afterwards, and I still cry when I watch some of the episodes. I believe Angela resonated with most of us girls, I was 15 just like her when the show aired, and I had a crazy/scattered/promiscuous bff too. The writing was impeccable.
I wanted to be Angela Chase, wear plaid shirts and rub my hair to the side of my face. This scene rt here, omg, omg. This is what every girl wants, this scene rt here.
nothing will ever beat this scene.. best tv series ever. this scene always gets me. I remember watching it back when it first aired and every time it feels just like the first time.
For such little dialog in a scene, there is so much going on with people's expressions and body language. You know all the characters, each one of them, so well, you can read each one of their minds.
I'm in complete agreement, chills up and down my spine every time I watch this scene. I've worn out my VHS tape watching the episode over and over. One of the best shows ever, and one of the best scenes of all time-- from any show!
I loved this show! Watched it every time it was on to see what happen between Angela and Jordan...❤️❤️ I miss shows like this! I cheered for Angela the first time I saw this scene I was grinning ear to ear like she was!!!
This show is a trip down memory lane, grunge 90's at its best! Loved this show, and was mad that it lasted for only one season, it had so much further to develop and had a quality and realness to it that u just don't get in teen shows now! Ofcourse, Jordan was my teen crush! But his character had so much more to grow and if the tv show had of lasted longer I think we would have seen more depth coming from him as he learned to express himself more, he just wasnt used to girls like angela and didnt know how to treat her right. I think we would have seen more of his troubled family life too! I think he really cared for angela but just didnt have a clue what to do, and was scared to let his guard down. Brian krakow was a pain though, he should have helped jordan express his own feelings in that letter, instead of speaking for him. I always find the misunderstood bad boy more appealing ... hasnt changed since my teen years! this show was fab, thanks for posting!
Im 21 now and damn 90s was so much much fun! less technology around and u had to work with whatever u had.. now its all looking down on your phone and text n get neck pains from it. Damn Jared looked like a kid!!! love teen dramas from 90's to 2005.. One tree hill is also that kind of show that gives u the feels! lol Did I just see Shannon!?
+Vi Ngo Phuong Claire wanted to move on to movies. I remember tv guide polls voting for it over Party of Five. There were petitions to keep it. My mission in life is to introduce younger generations to My So-Called Life and Freaks & Geeks. Not really... but really.
This is my favorite scene from my favorite episode of MSCL. The music, the looks, it's just perfect. I could watch this over and over. I loved Angela and Jordan.
i watched this show from begining to end. in some weird way it was like this show knew what most teens were going through in the 90s. great show, even better songs in the shows. i love buffalo tom. i hope everyone gets a chance to watch all the shows. thanks for the video. it brought back great memories.
Jordan Catalano is so yummy and nutritious. I remember watching this show when it first aired when I was a teenager. I used to love this show soooo much. I wanted to be Angela so bad with her red hair and teenage angst.
What’s there to say that hasn’t been said!? Apart from „poor Brian“. This scene is everything and utter perfection. The song, the eyes, the love, the hope, the joy.. Of being a teenager! And being in love! Memories! Thank you and hands down to this TV Series. Didn’t we all wanted that Moment in our life, too?!
Out of the whole season, this was the best episode for me. I have never smiled so much at the t.v. in my life when I saw this. All I had to say was, it was about damn time. Thanks for the video and the great memories it brought back!!
I watched this show back when Mtv released it in the spring of 1995 as re-runs, from it's previous run on ABC in the fall of 1994. I've just discovered it again on Sundance network. I remember every seen from Angela and her friends to her parents discussing cooking classes. Every episode is like that. It's been 16 years and I remember everything about this show. I've never had a t.v. show do that to me before. It's such a drag it was on for only one season.
I like to imagine what the conversation was with Jordan and his buddy before he walked over to Angela.. his friend seems like a good guy, so I imagine something like "Dude, c'mon! You know you like her... Man up!" :)
My favorite series of all time,i was in high school at this time and this show meant so much to me. Was so sad to see it end. I still catch myself smiling when i watch this episode.
i just finished watching this on hulu...it was amazing. I wish i had been old enough to watch it when it was on tv but it came out only a year ater i was born
Yeah, I realize this was just a goofy teen drama, but I loved it!! This is still one of my all-time, favorite romantic scenes... I still can't watch him grab her hand without saying "Awwww..." out loud, lol!
This is the moment at which he stopped aging and attained immortal life.
LOL, SO TRUE:)))
This is when he realized, he's too damaged to live in a society.
How could you do that to Brian Krakow? I wonder if Angela would have ended up with Brian or Jordan.
Jared Leto is pretty fucking dumb in real life. His version of The Joker was basically “what if the joker drank a lot of Mountain Dew code red and was like 10% more retarded than Heath Ledger’s version of The Joker” lol.
Immortal life, him and Jake
The show that should never be cancelled
this hands down has to be the most splendid scene in the existence of the universe :)
Oooh yeah, no love scene I've watched till now has ever topped that one!
It really is 😍😍😍
agreed
Absofreakinlutely.
There is really no dialog going on, yet so much emotion packed into this scene. I come back to this video every so often. It's so powerful! ❤
I'm 41 years old, and THIS scene just squeezes my teenage heart to bits every single time! When he grabs her hand?!? I Can't Even breathe 😍
And her eyes...
@MissPolishPilget.imagina ser ella🤩mueres
52 and same 🤣🤣
43 and same 🥲
41. Same. Goosebumps ❤ and by the way I adore this song 😍
Im 42 years old and this will be THE scene of ANY film, tv..whatever....that will stay in my mind forever!!! PERFECTION.
So you were in your 20s when the series was aired. Multiply those fluttery feelings by 5 if you had seen it during your teens. I keep on returning to this video every now and then. I'm 31 and wish I were still 16.
LeaLibnen Nastalga!!
39 and same ❤
Right there with ya Sis, 41 here! 😉
I'm 43 and I was a teen when this aired.
This show really knew how to summarize high school and having a crush and finally dating your crush and the perspectives of your peers. WOW. Plus, 90s!! Gotta love it.
I'm sorry , but this scene was one of the cutest scenes ever . And the way he grabbed her hand (swoons) Love this scene .
show was ahead of it's time
Way way!
It’s been over 25 years, this moment still brings me to my knees. This scene is everything.
Long live Tino, too cool to be seen!
Chrially2931, yes he was ☺.
made an "appearance" in Juno.
😂😂😂😂
Did he really make an appearance in Juno?!?! Cuz we are all DYING to know EVERYTHING about Tino!!!
I'm 32 now, and I STILL SQUEEEEEEE every time I come across this scene!
Absolutely love this scene then and now continues to give me chills and butterflies
I'm 33 and I do the same! I miss this show...I miss the 90s!! 😩
Everyone was identifiable by the flannel they wore everyday-- even if ya didn't know names, if your friend described the person's flannel, ya knew.
Candice Martinez
Riiiiight 😳
As much as I would have loved a season 2, I think it was for the best because they would have ruined the series by turning it into like Melrose Place.
Brian no está enojado, está dolido es diferente
Angela's smile at the end is everything.
This was the most perfect moment in any story ever. I'm 40 and I still tear up. I heard the song "Late at Night" by Buffalo Tom once in the mall while shopping. I cried there too just remembering the scene.
Best scene of the whole series hands down!!
Wow I was 16 when this episode came out. Episode came out late 1994. Dang time just flew by. Enjoy life people..... You could miss it.
Brian's face just breaks my heart! I rooted for Brian through the whole show:[
Ewww Krackow😂
Brian was an incel in the making
I really thought Brian was a healthier choice for her.
I watched this when it first aired and it’s still the most beautiful scene I’ve ever seen
This is honestly the best romantic scene in any tv show. It's so simple on the surface yet so perfectly romantic and has so many implications if you know the characters/context. The music, the way Angela and Jordan look at each other, the way their friends are looking at them, the walking away together like no one and nothing else exists except for them and then the hand holding... perfection.
I just found this again on Hulu. Made my life. I'm 40 now and this series is still underrated to me. LOVED THIS SCENE!!!❤️❤️❤️
I watched this when I was a teenager myself and I will never forget this! One of the reasons I called my son Jordan #swoon
I was 15 at that time just like Angela. I miss her and I miss the 15 year old me too. This scene was so beautiful, still is. OMG I miss those times so much.
I must have replayed that hand holding part a million times
Somebody still here on almost 2024??
Yep and this scene still brings tears to my eyes! 😱😱😂😂
Why is it that the greatest things in life, that are pure genius, always end too soon?! Best show ever!!! One of the best scenes in TV history. The original "You had me at hello" moment.
this never gets old.
Oh that smile on her face when he holds her hand.
Gosh, I miss the 90s!
Damn. I remember thinking this when I first watched it and still think it. The way he slides his hand into hers is so smooth. Haha. I love it.
Easily one of the most memorable scenes in TV history. And all these years later, I am SO NOT OVER Jordan Catalano!! ;)
The music, everyone’s reactions (Brian, Ricky, Rayanne and Sharon). What a perfect scene.
This is the scene which I was more happy about, I literally start jumping around my room like a crazy. I will always love MSCL.
I’m too old and jaded to ever feel that way again, but I remember feeling that way once
I have this buffalo tom song on my Spotify favorite Playlist. I still love this show.
Haha. Me too!
I wanted to be Angela Chase, wear plaid shirts and rub my hair to the side of my face. This scene rt here, omg, omg. This is what every girl wants, this scene rt here.
Calandr28 I concur
+Patti M What do they want? I don't get it... What's the big deal about him holding her hand?
+Calandr28 And I wanted to be Jared Letto, so I would be cool and handsome :)
My hair length is kind of like hers.
Best ever scene. Music and everything about it. ❤️
I still love the fact that even his buddy was all "Dude, come on... go get her..." Lol
They just summarized the 90s in 2:11
nothing will ever beat this scene.. best tv series ever. this scene always gets me. I remember watching it back when it first aired and every time it feels just like the first time.
This song played in my head everyday, walking thru the halls till I graduated. I was a freshman when this aired.
For such little dialog in a scene, there is so much going on with people's expressions and body language. You know all the characters, each one of them, so well, you can read each one of their minds.

Omg easily one of my fav scenes in this show, I always feel that this show was like 5 seasons-so much happens in the 1season
26 years later and I still come back to watch this…♥️
This scene lives rent free in my mind 🤧❤️
sometimes the characters in the movies or in the tv series doesn't necessarily have to kiss or have sex just to make the viewers melt in their knees
This show is a trip down memory lane, grunge 90's at its best! Jordan was beautiful, Brain could be a PITA but I was rooting for Brian.

This has always been my favorite scene!! I so wanted to be Angela in that moment
2021 just broken up with a guy and made me think of this Buffalo Tom song & Angela & Jordan. I miss the 90s 😢
IMO..the Most Romantic scene in TV history...perfect!
The best scene in television history

I love this scene ❤ I wish they had made another season
claire danes had the best smile and the widest eyes. she changed over the years though.
omg jared😭❤
Unforgettable scene!❤️😄
Yeah, I realize this was just a goofy teen drama, but I loved it!! This is still one of my all-time, favorite romantic scenes... I still can't watch him grab her hand without saying "Awwww..." out loud, lol!
I absolutely love this fucking show!!!
I miss when guys dressed like this. Now it’s all skinny jeans. Glad I grew up when I did!
I just watched this scene on the Sundance channel. This show was perfect.
