After pandemic, no signs of vaccine/ masks/ quarantine in Europe anymore. Its time to fly again. This video I will show you the best of my Paris for Hong Konger fellows. Here's what I have done after having travelled to Paris intesively in the past 5 years.
Where to stay: 9arr with all major attractions (in particular shopping) within 15 mins walking.
Hotel or Airbnb? If you are staying for more than 4 days, airbnb will be better since we can do our own laundry thus more luggage space for shopping.
What to wear: Stay in style and away from Lulu Lemons. Layering with T-shirts and sweater with jacket is a must. Black and white with one/ two colors max. Scarf and umbrella will be handy.
Shops I love: Printemps + lafayette if you don't want to walk. Le marais for smaller desingers. Merci is a trendy store while Colette is closed for now. Rue St. Honore for all luxury brands. Le Vendome for luxury jewellry. Cheap souvenirs in Monoprix supermarket (the one on Champs Eylsee is the best)
What to do: airbnb experience always have sometime exciting. This time, I have hired a photographer at 280CAD for an hour wit all digital photos for me to download. Here’s other few I tried:

Places I visited this time:
Montmartre (weekend live music dinner)
Champs Elysee (very crowded)
Le Marais (lots of walking and shops/ cafes)
Rue St Honore Vallee Village (outlet with luxury brands, go to their website, sign up as members to get extra 10%)
Where to eat:
Le train Bleu (french food best deco)
Rue D’Amsterdam (lots of sichuan food)
Crepe (on the street!)
L’ecume St-Honore (fresh seafood)
DETEX spend over 100euro in stores to get tax refund of 12%. You will need your passport. With email address for easy tracking, there will be email notification to remind you! Airport detax now comes in machine where we scan the forms given by shops, we do not need to mail the forms anymore! If you have detax from other countries, you will need to go through in-person custom officer. Give yourself an hour the night before departure to organise your forms and receipts. You can claim your refund in cash or directly in credit card (for better currency conversion)
CUSTOMS in Canada, declare no more than 800 CAD if you left for more than 4 days, anything else will subject to tax (at high rate for luxury!) I needed to declare kids clothes, and items in boxes (as gifts).
