Black metal the way it should be, just as magical, mysterious and dark as back in the 90 's. Abbath 's voice still as raw, his appearance still as impressive 😜 Mighty Ravendark, forever in my black heart 🖤🖤🖤 This show was amazing!!! 🤘🤘🤘
Proud to have seen Immortal @ Axionhal in Belgium in 2000, the Damned In Black record was just released and bought it there. Indeed a mighty show with Horgh & Iscariah metal memories were made there. Iscariah arrived late for recording the DIB album in the studio so Abbath had already played and recorded all the bass tracks! Like Erik years before(Abbath plays all drums on Pure Holocaust LP) Iscariah only is on the cover photo.
When I heard and saw the Blashyrkh video as a young girl back in the 90 's I desperately fell in love with something that was called (Norwegian) black metal. Now almost 30 years later I went crazy when Abbath and his band played this song, just as cold, raw and grim as back in the days 🖤🖤 🖤 Demons still stride at the Gates of Blashyrkh!!! 🤘🤘🤘 This song is literally Immortal!!! 😜
I was at the show and it actually sounded decent. Maybe just because I was really into some good old Immortal. But lots of issues with the sound/mixing in general at GMM this year.
@@roelhoremans5887 I assume you were closer to the stage. I walked in during the set and stayed at the back. Sound was horrible imho. The high hat was way to overpowering.
No Immortal without Abbath! This is the way old school black metal should be, pure and raw and cold as a Norwegian winter day. Shrouded in darkness, wrapped in an air of mystery 🖤🖤🖤
Love Abbath, especially his Immortal era, but haaaaard disagree here. NCG & WAA are two icy cold, deadly albums. This situation works out best for fans. You get the best of both worlds.
@@atreacherouspathFor me nothing better than the good old 90 's stuff! I grew up with this when I was a young girl and that 90 's black metal will be forever in my heart 🖤🖤🖤 This show was very nostalgic, Abbath at his best, forever at the Heart of Winter and fighting Battles in the North 🤘🤘😜
wtf are you talking about? abbath tryed to sell the rights to the band with anyone knowing demonaz is the one who was keeping the band alive i lost all respect for abbath you should listen top immrotal now back to being fast as they once were
Actually I don 't care about the conflict between Abbath and Demonaz. It 's a pity they split up, that 's true, and I definitely prefer Immortal with both of them. But I really enjoyed that gig, I had a good time, and isn 't that the one thing that matters??? It 's the music that counts, this performance was great, maybe not for everybody, but that 's just a matter of personal taste 🖤🖤🖤
I don't know. Anyone wants to share opinions on here coming to the conflict between Abbath and Demonaz. Demonaz released 2 solid albums out already coming to Immortal!
They can't find ultimate success without eachother. 2 solid albums were nothing close to peak Immortal, and all Abbath's solo albums were solid, but nothing compared to peak Immortal.
The old and great glory of IMMORTAL is long gone - starting with the changing of style by At The Heart Of Winter... This is just the rotting corpse now....
I don't care what anyone thinks I enjoyed every second of this show.... !

What's up with the sound and what's up with Abbath he does not sound so good
Same as in Utrecht,a week ago.i was not impressed
Voice problems, maybe a cold or something! still performs the best he can :)

I think we all tend to forget our metal heroes are all old men now

What f### you know? Morron@@colored_lonely
Northern Chaos Gods was above solid, the last one, not quite
Playing live is a huge part of the mystique though. If Demonaz can't do that then he falls behind.
Abbath is to Immortal as Cavalera is to Sepultura. Both are the face of the band.
Drummer seems to hit almost as hard as Horgh
worst band ewer 😆
Whatever. When we need a good laugh, we always watch some black metal vids.
