I am not a PPP supporter but I can totally see why people voted for her. I think she is amazingly intelligent and her supporters love her.

Benazir was a symbol of faith, hope and dedication towards getting work done. May Benazir's spirit and hopes remain untarnished and that her role remains permanent in the fight against military rule in the Islamic Rupblic of Pakistan.

If anything, women see the issue more clearly, we aren't clouded by testosterone and the need to conduct ourselves violently. We prefer to change the world by changing the way people think, rather than by force. May Bhutto's legacy create lasting change in Pakistan, and may she rest in peace.

I think some group of idiots/ un educated and extremists are trying their best to reach at her level but you guys know what its more like a dream for them to reach her status . She is the only persnality among any politician in pakistan whose world known others could dream of it .
    BB is the great !

Benazir Bhutto was strong and solid voice of the impoverished and distraught section of the society in Pakistan.
Her brutal assassination became a tantamount to an inactive resurgence of progressive populism in the country.
She was highly intelligent, intellectual, legendary and seasoned politician.
It was an irreparable loss to Pakistan.
May Allah rest her soul in peace and tranquility 'with regard

In 1994 she was ruling Pakistan. in the same year, the Taliban was born. Pakistan supported the Taliban, had military advisers with them, armed them, trained them and gave them political cover. later on, Pakistan even had troops in the Northern Afghan city of Kunduz to support the Taliban which is well documented. the same Extremists who had been sent to Afghanistan to support the Taliban, later on returned to Pakistan and formed the Pakistani Taliban. finally she was killed by the forces supporting Taliban and extremism. now, you can judge her !

Amazing we still respect a person if he is rich, highly educated and currupt. Muslim must think which university our Prophet went. Person should be respected for his good qualities. A person born in leading family, lived and educated aboard cannot dream what a poor pakistani go throuh daily.Sorry no comparison. Plus many people go aboard and give lectures including my female cousins (Gold medal oxford, Gold medal harvard) but they do not qualify because of this to become PM.

Under lack of leadership, she is only hope for Pakistan and all over the region. Also Islam is not the only religion to oppress women, all religions are same in this issue, just we have to see without bias.

Did she do anything concrete for human rights and especially, for pakistani women when she governed the country? I don't have bad intentions in asking this question, I've simply been reading a lot about Benazir Bhutto and since I can't confirm if all the things (good and bad) I read are true, could somebody from Pakistan or somebody who knows what he's talking about please answer me?
    Thanks.
