How is KUNG FU PANDA 3 getting hate on here? This and KFP4 are becoming severely underrated. The PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN franchise is also underrated as it is my favorite franchise. Now, if you want a bad movie with great villains, there's SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME because of my hate for the MCU and the fact that it brought characters and villains from great Spider-Man movies into the MCU via multiverse ruined my childhood.
Absolutely awful take, No Way Home is an absolute banger of a movie even beyond the legacy characters, and unlike Deadpool & Wolverine it actually used its legacy characters as characters and not just meta jokes.

The thing is TASM2 ended on huge cliffhangers with promise for The Sinister Six, TASM3, etc. But the deal with the MCU took all that away from me. Like how do you really feel if someone took away a franchise you loved, cancelled the rest of the story, and put it into a franchise you hate? The re-do of Spider-Man and his supporting characters in the MCU was bad enough, but bringing in the likes of Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and most of their villains into the MCU? That did affect my mental health. I wanted to see their stories continue in their darker universes. Not in the light-hearted MCU. Again, how could I not be upset?

One movie that comes to my mind is Indiana Jones Dial of Destiny. Mads Mikkelson was a perfect choice for an Indy villain and I loved his performance and chemistry with Harrison Ford. Unfortunately though they really under utilized his character. Also, I completely agree with that Pirates 5 take. Super underrated movie!

I swear what they did to Gorr, The God Butcher, compared to how viscerally sadistic and menacing he was in the original Jason Aaron's Thor: God Butcher graphic novel, is downright criminal! That storyline had Gorr quite literally massacring gods left and right and literally travelling through time to take it even further. Gorr even enslaved and crucified gods as a show of power over how mortals overpower the mighty deities, and he even forced them to make a bomb that would eradicate every god. It literally took the power of 3 versions of Thor, one from the past, the present nd the future to finally kill Gorr for good.
One movie I think should be on this list is Paradox Effect, that movie is really generic and mid with an incredibly confusing plot but Harvey Keitel as Silvio is a great performance

I think Kung Fu Panda 3 is overall a great movie but I think Kai is the weakest villain of the franchise despite being a great villain. I like Chameleon's backstory more because it makes her a polar opposite of Po. People are gonna comment "bruh, her backstory makes no sense because of Mantis, Viper and Shifu". Her backstory makes more sense when you look at it critically. The above were accepted. They had to fight Boar and prove their worth to Shifu and Shifu was trained by the impartial Oogway. Even Crane was mocked for his skinny legs by kung fu masters so Chameleon facing prejudices is no plot hole or anything. Variations can exist in a huge country like China. Anyway, I also like Chameleon's parallels with Po like the theme of change, being a mentor, backstory and all that. Kai too has parallels with Po like stealing chi with reverse ways but his backstory is "executed" poorly. On paper, it sounds great and even visually it looks great but it lacks impact for me. I love JK Simmons comedy but it also makes it hard to emotionally connect with Kai's goals. Like Po gives a chance of redemption to all the other villains but for Kai we get a "chit chat" scene. Chameleon was also analytical and strategic while Kai made some dumb decisions. Kai does have the better introduction and theme score but overall Chameleon is slightly better in my opinion. I think Lockdown from Transformers: Age of Extinction is a great example of this. The movie overall is mediocre. Bland human characters and complex plots but Lockdown and the Dinobots make it better than entries like Revenge of the Fallen and Last Knight in my opinion.

Nah Kung Fu Panda 3 is a great movie, and in my opinion a fantastic finale for the trilogy.

I think Kung Fu Panda 3 is overall a great movie but I think Kai is the weakest villain of the franchise despite being a great villain. I like Chameleon's backstory more because it makes her a polar opposite of Po. People are gonna comment "bruh, her backstory makes no sense because of Mantis, Viper and Shifu". Her backstory makes more sense when you look at it critically. The above were accepted. They had to fight Boar and prove their worth to Shifu and Shifu was trained by the impartial Oogway. Even Crane was mocked for his skinny legs by kung fu masters so Chameleon facing prejudices is no plot hole or anything. Variations can exist in a huge country like China. Anyway, I also like Chameleon's parallels with Po like the theme of change, being a mentor, backstory and all that. Kai too has parallels with Po like stealing chi with reverse ways but his backstory is "executed" poorly. On paper, it sounds great and even visually it looks great but it lacks impact for me. I love JK Simmons comedy but it also makes it hard to emotionally connect with Kai's goals. Like Po gives a chance of redemption to all the other villains but for Kai we get a "chit chat" scene. Chameleon was also analytical and strategic while Kai made some dumb decisions. Kai does have the better introduction and theme score but overall Chameleon is slightly better in my opinion.
I think Lockdown from Transformers: Age of Extinction is a great example of this. The movie overall is mediocre. Bland human characters and complex plots but Lockdown and the Dinobots make it better than entries like Revenge of the Fallen and Last Knight in my opinion.
