    We looked at a Casita Spirit Deluxe in Northwest Arkansas on Saturday through their owner referral program. We really liked it. We have looked at a comparable Escape. While we like the Escape the price is a little higher and a longer drive to pickup. A significant difference is the location of the bathroom. The bathroom at the end of the Casita makes it feel much more open than the Escape. We plan to head to Texas to see the Spirit in the new gray interior.

      Great idea to see the color before deciding. Be sure to ask for Carla and let here know we recommended her. Thanks.

    I love the gray!! 😍 Much more modern & cleaner look! Does the carpeting have to be in there? I assume it’s for insulation? Is there another option? I dislike carpet🙁

    • @RVAdventuresTV
      @RVAdventuresTV  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The carpet is for insulation and sound. There is no other option and you can't get the trailer without it. The carpet has a 1/4" foam backing and is glued to the walls.

    The gray interior is much better. It also now is brighter inside like tbe Oliver. Thank you.

    Do you have to have carpet on walls?

    • @RVAdventuresTV
      @RVAdventuresTV  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes... it is the only way they build them. It is the fiberglass shell and then the carpet with a foam backing glued to it. No wall in these trailers; saves on space and weight.

    In the Spirit Deluxe can you have bunk beds where the side dinette is located and still keep the bathroom?

    • @RVAdventuresTV
      @RVAdventuresTV  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      the side dinette can be made into a small single bed, not sure of the length but I will get that in an upcoming video. I am not sure if Casita will make that for you or if you have to make that mod yourself. I have seen a picture of it configured that way, but it wasn't a Casita one. I will ask that question when I go by the factory week after next.

    Hi! Great Videos. Anyway, I have a question. I am currently considering ordering a Casita. The Spirit and Freedom are the two models I am interested in. I am leaning to the Spirit because of the additional storage and the additional bed space from the side dinette. However, I also like those swivel chairs. The reason I am asking you is we are about the same size. That being said, which seating did you find more comfortable while doing your videos? Were the swivel chairs comfortable enough for a big man to justify the sacrifice of the storage space and the additional bed? I am planning on traveling alone, but I have read that the swivel chairs also tend to encroach on center aisle space. Anyway, I’m pretty sure I have watched all of your videos, and found them very helpful. Thanks!

      I am glad you watched and they were helpful. The swivel chairs were ok for my size and comfortable. Yes, when you turn to the isle your legs are in it but that shouldn't be an issue with one, however there is still room for another to pass. If by yourself you can recover some storage by sliding some plastic tubs under the chairs. Casita has a program where you can call and tell them the models your would like to see and they will put you in touch with an owner in your area who is willing to give you a tour.

    The Spirit Deluxe is the model of my Casita. What I did for a bed was to take out the original cushion and table top and put in a board the width of a twin bed for a regular mattress. I love it. Great videos. I have noticed a couple of times in the comments that you are going back to the factory. Are you getting a new one or having work done on yours?

    • @RVAdventuresTV

      No new one or work... It is between our home and our kid's homes.

    Everyone of the Casitas you’ve shown so far has what appears to be a cabinet door being stored in the closet. Any idea what the story on that is?

      Go Lightly : Smaller version of the existing table top for the “girth challenged” individuals?

    • @RickMartinYouTube
      @RickMartinYouTube 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you're talking about at the base of the closet, it's a kickplate - similar to the plates under the dinette. Doesn't move -protects, hides underlying material like a plastic pipe or electrical cord, I think. Could be wrong.

    • @RVAdventuresTV
      @RVAdventuresTV  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      All replies are correct... I think there were a couple of items shown, the extra small table top, the extra piece for making the bed platform, and the wooden hinged "kickplate" to hide the wiring coming from the trailer plug and break-away sensor in the lower back.
