    As long as you’re happy… the rest is irrelevant. I could certainly live in the Casita (alone) as well.

    I really enjoy your videos! My first RV, a Casita, is scheduled for pickup September 15, 2022. I have only camped one time 40 years ago when my kids were 3 and 8. It was in a tent, it was a miserable experience due to constant rain. I’m counting on this to be much better! Just me and 2 small dogs. And you’re right, I’ve been watching TH-cam videos to prepare for this adventure. This one is particularly encouraging. Thank you!

    I'm torn between Scamp, Cassita and Tab 320 clam.

    • @daebak_hana
      @daebak_hana 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I also considered those other two but decided on the casita. Scamp was just not up to the quality and aesthetics as casita. I didn't choose tab because I'm tall and would not be able to stand up comfortably in it.

    we also bought a used casita 2016, we are very happy with. I didnt realize there was such a community of "casita family" out there. and on You Tube. all the help they provide. when we bought our Highlander it was for the purpose of sleeping inside which we have a few times, bought the whole kitchen set up for outside cooking. but as a 68yr old woman who has slept in a tent, on the ground, on a cot, in the car, there is no thing as "just" the 3am pee. i wanted something that was self contained, that my husband can stand up in. and we could eat or have coffee that wasnt in the rain, snow, frost. I started searching for a casita on casitaclubclassifieds i agree with everything u said about living in the casita, but we will be just camping..

    I just bought a new one. You seem really nice by the way. One thing I like about the small trailers (I moved up to Spirit Deluxe 17 from a 14' Jayco) is that when you're driving along and you see a little roadside whatever that you want to stop at, it's totally easy & not stress. I had a 28' trailer years ago and it was always a big production to spontaneously stop at a Cracker Barrel or etc.

    Backing up a trailer is easy if you hold the steering wheel at the bottom, not the top. This way you steer the direction you want to without thinking

    • @TinyTexanAdventures

    Hi..If you had a choice, and could order the shades instead of the mini blinds, would you prefer the shades? The shades cost an additional $299. Just curious.. Thank you so much for your videos.

    • @TinyTexanAdventures
      @TinyTexanAdventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank YOU for watching! Honestly I’m not a big fan of the metal mini blinds, but I prefer the ability to look out without having to lift a shade. I can at least slant the mini blinds, get light in, and see out without others seeing in. With that said, I think eventually I will opt for dark tint on the windows and a lighter curtain. Have you already placed your Casita order?

      @@TinyTexanAdventures Hi... Thank you so much for your response.. I have ordered my Spirit Deluxe Model and it is scheduled for delivery on Sept. 7, 2021. I originally ordered the shades, but now I think I will maybe switch back to the mini blinds, for the reason you stated.. With the mini blinds you have options.. Ordering the shades is a $300 upgrade... I love your idea about getting the windows tinted... and adding blinds... I think that's the best way to go.. Happy Holidays..

    I'm looking to buy one myself here! I've been wanting one for years and I think I'm finally gonna get one. I'll still own a home and use it for camping. I'm looking at this one, the independence, or the heritage! Gonna go 50/50 with my friend/roommate as long as he's on board. With the upgrades it'll probably be around 30k but they last forever and are easy to tow

    Yes, yes and yes. Although, we don't intend to live in it, the size and manageability are a few of the reasons we bought one (delivery scheduled for 2/2023). We can store it in our side yard, so no storage fees. It's as small as our popup so towing will not be a problem. Easy of maintain, since its fiberglass it will hold up to our very humid S. FL weather. A lot of upsides and very little downsize.

    Loved your video.
    I just stumbled into the idea of having a small camper trailer that I can pull with my RAV4 - I saw the scamp and that's how I found Casita.
    It's just myself. I want to head back to my 'life' in SWFL..but could see the reality of the cost of a home.
    THIS is more for ME.
    I always loved camping, I've even lived in my car (not by choice) with my dog for several weeks. I enjoyed the FREEDOM I had.
    Didn't enjoy the cramped sleeping though, but I digress.
    I will be looking more in this direction.
    Thank you for your video...you showed me ITS POSSIBLE!
    Would love to ask you questions, you seem to be living the life I want to live, but it's uncharted waters for me.
    I know Nothing of RVs or campers..what it entails, in fact, tonight I just learned what black water, gray water is. Lol
    Thnx again.
    Peace & love.
