It was such an honor and a privilege to host Dr. Husain Abdul Sattar, and I hope everyone is able to benefit from this inshaAllah. Please forgive me for any shortcomings on my end as the host. I've added a Special Note in the description to address some of the comments. I am always open to critique, so please share your advice on what/how I can improve in the future. Thank you!
MashaAllah brother. To emphasize Dr. Sattar’s advice: “Understand yourself so that you can make your unique contributions, and don’t worry about anyone else.” I think that’s what you did with this video. While you aren’t a talk show host, you still maintained a high level of professionalism throughout your entire presentation. Your calm demeanor and cerebral approach blended well with Dr. Sattar’s style-It’s no surprise you’re in medicine. You’re articulate and eloquent which enhanced the reflective, conversational tone of this discussion in my opinion. Seems like you have a natural talent for facilitating meaningful conversations and connecting with people, which makes you perfect for podcasting. Looks like you also have some Islamic knowledge. Consider pairing that with your medical knowledge to provide an Islamic/medical podcast or similar unique short-form content. As far as I know, no one is currently doing a combo like that but there is a need so this could be a big hit on Muslim social media if done right. This would allow you to exercise your natural talents, expand your Islamic and medical repository, and provide good value to your audience. Another idea is to have a split screen view to maintain viewers’ attention. Overall, loved the video! The more you make, the more you’ll refine and improve. Great work-keep it up!
Thank you for this! Absolutely love dr. sattar ❤You did amazing and speak really well mA! Very rare to find in a med student. Please do more! Love the medicine islam combo podcast idea in the other comment!!! Can deff see that with you. All the best in your med career!
I’m not muslim but this interview really moved me. Makes me want to look into Islam now. I realized I had to really take my time watching it all to fully appreciate it. Shared this with all my med school friends! Phenomenal job by host. Amazing advice by Dr. Sattar! ❤❤
Even tho I'm christian, I just gotta say this was a banger🔥and dr.sattar might as well be the reason I start exploring islam. Also obvs dr.sattar is the star here but as someone who works with podcast productions, I don't think ppl realize how hard it is to host in this LIVE format. Bro is completely winging it with no set questions beforehand. All questions coming in LIVE from audience so he's putting them all into themes as he goes AND each theme connects with the next AND he's quickly summarizing each of dr.sattar's answers accurately AND he's doing it all on the fly without getting stuck AND with near perfect delivery....it's every podcaster's dream forreal. Bro is making it look easy. Very impressive and needs alot of multi tasking and active listening skills. Respect brotha! ✊🏻 Forget the haters. Easy to hate, harder to appreciate.
This was straight fire! I'm always so inspired by Dr. Sattar! Literally got me through med school. Very interesting to listen to this rare side of him. Loved the theme-style convo setup with the reflective summaries between each part. Everything flowed perfectly. Podcast vibes fs. Jzk for doing this and sharing!
A Humble & Loving personality❤ Med School vibes(Pathoma) Very high yield 😅.. sir mention in his lectures Always..!! May ALLAH grant him a healthy life Ahead..!!!
Was trying to include the non-medical audience, do justice to Dr. Abdul Sattar's various achievements, and connect/converse with him as he requested. Please see the Special Note in the description.
This wasn't initially meant to be on TH-cam. It was a Zoom call which unfortunately wasn't recorded with split screen. I disagree with "lazy talk" because I wanted to make sure to include our non-medical audience while also doing justice to Dr. Abdul Sattar's achievements. That's why the intro has the length it does. You could've taken advantage of the video chapters to skip the intro and stay, if only for his parts, to benefit from his advice. But still, I like your idea of split screen for future reference.
