Good video Rocket travles, interesting place full of history, glad you learned to live with you past in what was obviously very difficult circumstances and moved forward to better things. Merry Christmas.
Was hoping to see some of that Weather spoons breakfast. Good on you mate surviving social services and making something of your life. Very exciting if you over landing to Thailand!!
Good to see the video mate . I’m 61 with Thai wife and sold window cleaning supplies in Australia. I’m now retired 2 weeks ago and heading to Thailand in 29th December , so we have some similar stories . All the very best for Christmas and your full time life in Hua Hin . I fell in love with my boss there and we go on holidays every year so maybe we can catch up and have a pint one day Rocket ! Cheers 🍻
This was a brilliant watch it was interesting to hear you discuss your early years much respect rocket travels keep up the good work. Much love from Huddersfield.
Enjoying your videos. I too am selling my home in California and will be moving to Hua Hin probably around June. I understand your emotions preparing to leave the UK as I will leave the US and hope to run in to you when you’re back in Thailand. Congratulations on the sale of your home, have a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year’s!
as an adopted kid myself I gotta say I'm sorry you had a bad experience, both myself and my brother were adopted. it wasn't perfect, but it was good. my mother and father are still with us, and I love them dearly! they are in their 80's and getting on now, but I am so happy for their support and caring/love. BTW I'll end up in Thailand because of their openness and love growing up. as a kid I was exposed to families emigrating from Cambodia and folks from eastern Europe, south America, and Africa. people who take in families from all over the world generally makes for kids who live full and happy lives. sorry your turn was bad, but bless your folks for giving you something you could build from... that's all any of us really need, its just what you make of it,
Interesting TH-cam rocket travels and I never knew there would be so much of interest in Harwich. At the beginning when you referred to Harwich I thought you might be taking the ferry to the Hook, taking the train to Schiphol and departing Europe from there (to avoid UK's Air Passenger Duty).
Wow! Your story is so like mine as an adoptee. The abuse, the humiliation, on a daily basis for years on end, does something to a person. I wish you the best of luck in your new journey. I hope you can put all that behind you and have a happy life.
Cool last vlog in the UK, thanks for sharing parts of your life. Safe travels to your next adventure, can’t wait to see where you’re going. Merry Christmas to you and the Boss Rocket😀🎄🎉🍻Cheers
Good luck rocket, to get away from that lovely English weather. Just remember you’ve earned your retirement in Thailand, currently in Thailand for Christmas Day, but head back to Australia in Boxing Day, unfortunately for me I’ve still got a few years to my retirement, but eventually I’ll do short term contracts and live 1/2 the year in Thailand.
Total respect for you mate, and giving your last respects to your adopted parents, may they rest in peace, and hopefully next time around they do better. BTW mate, not to teach you how to suck eggs, JUST be careful with the pennies in Thailand ok.. Make sure you as No1 are sorted first and foremost. And bloody make sure you have full accident and health insurance mate, I know I know.......And as you may already know: Once landed you become the most handsome man on the planet, and everyone shall love you long time..🥰
Soon as you said Harwich I thought ferry to Hook of Holland. But I thought you would probably fly from Amsterdam - now I think you are going overland. Should be one hell of an adventure.
Would it be unusual for a British citizen to go to Thailand to work in like within warehousing and live a comfortable lifestyle there? I want to move to Thailand but I wouldn't know what to do for work 😟
Hi mate I live in Bangkok very strict on work here basically anything unskilled like warehousing or labouring is reserved for strictly Thai people only and the pay would only be about £12.00 a day most work online
as someone that lives in harwich i thought i was seeing things when i saw hapenny pier, the gun emplacment never used to be fenced off and i spent many hours with my friends playing in there but like most things these days some one is making money out of it or the health and safety nazis are getting involved, probably one of the reason you are leaving!
Sad that everything in uk is dirty sad and graffiti edit. You don't see that in Thajland..places that are respected being treated like that. Says a lot about Engkand versus Thailand.

You need a work permit in Thailand 🇹🇭
There’s only 7 jobs as foreigner can get. Being a native speaker look at becoming a English tutor/teacher you have to do a tesol certificate
good video you are born youtuber regards from khon khen
Thank you very kind comment
Jumping from the horrible UK to the even worse Thailand...Great job.
Are you going overland to Thailand?
