This channel is part sitcom, part plant based cooking education, and a small part of providing a recipe one can follow. I highly recommend their book Be A Plant-Based Woman Warrior. You'll find yourself making every single recipe!!! I make this pasta dish all the time when I need something quick, but never thought to add greens. Genius!
Well I made Anne's pasta tonight and it was delicious! I picked from my organic garden, raided the pantry and shopped for all the remaining items for all three recipes. Thank you for the encouragement. I have been trying to eat plant based and have been unsuccessful. This meal was easy peezy! Great ideas in the video Anne! I wish I could post my picture so you could see it! It was beautiful!
That's amazing because I make my pasta like that quite often. Kale is a great addition, and I will often throw in a can of chickpeas or beans. I am a big fan of whole wheat pasta I buy at our local MOMS Organic Market in Northern Virginia. They have a bulk section with ancient grains, beans, and things like Nutritional Yeast.
WOW that looks good!! Jane I love watching you and Ms. Ann cooking together. You both make me laugh and I do LOVE the recipes. Thanks for sharing this one. I will be making this possibly tonight!!
In case you have little water for the pasta, you can add ready boiled water from the kettle. Little water doesn’t allow to cook pasta quicker. I love Mrs. Ann is still competitive. It’s awesome to see Mrs. Ann so energetic and vibrant at this age. What an inspiration!!!👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼
I love this channel, I’ve learned soooo much. It’s on my bucket list to attend one of their retreats soon. Highly recommend their book. It is my go to for cooking.
😂 Thank you so much for sharing your awesome recipes! Even though I’m in FL, I am one of your tribe- Plant Based Woman Warriors !! 🌞❤ I love your cook books and watching your videos! Your cookbook is so inspiring and I loved reading your stories. ❤
I have been extoling how easy WFPB eating is for years. Thanks for supporting that. I love the frozen foods aisle at the store; so much real food to choose from. I love the Woman Warrior cookbook...thanks for all you do to further this lifestyle!
Yum! Way to go Ann! One pot meal! Quick and easy. Love the idea of a little pasta with a lot of low calorie dense veggies. Great for weight loss too. 🥦 looking forward to Jane and Bryan’s meals.😊
I love this channel and all the knowledge you impart. Thank you for helping me to cook healthier. I'm going to look up the marinara recipe right now, I have Be A Plant-based Woman Warrior, what a great book. Keep up the great work, Ann, Jane and Brian. Dolores
Love watching you guys! I really wish our local Aldi's had a bigger variety of produce and frozen veggies instead of the aisles of non grocery items, and also a better variety of staples like whole grains, legumes, spices, etc. . It's a really affordable place to shop, but I always have to go elsewhere to get pretty basic stuff.
I found myself saying "take a few minutes longer if it gets the pasta cooked better". I eat a brown rice pasta that needs cooking very soft then firms up after draining ( the water is good to keep for a soup/ sauce).
I made this recipe last night and it is delicious! I added some edamame for the additional protein. This will be my go-to pasta dish from now on. So quick and easy! Thanks for sharing.😋
This is reminiscent of the goulash I used to make for my kids. It did contain meat at the time, but it didn’t need it (and I didn’t know better at the time.). Yum!
One of my favorites is my "enchilada onions, mushrooms, & beans". Sautee onions, mushrooms, and garlic in a dash of soy suace and Worcestershire sauce (just a couple splashes and I know it's not vegan but it's such a teeny amount). Add a quart of cooked beans. Add tomato paste, chili powder, cumin, onin powder, smoked paprika, and pepper. Let it all simmer for about 5 minutes. Serve with corn tortillas, or over lettuce or cooked rice, and add avocado, cilantro, and lime. :)
Yum, seems like such a great dish :D running frozen veggies under warm water to defrost them is a great trick, and one I've used many times :) always such a fun time :D thank you for sharing

Please--can't you please tell how to wash kale? I want to use it more often but it seems like such a chore to wash it. I know you grown kale in your garden and I would like to know how to wash fresh kale instead of just buying the frozen kind. Please
Ann and Jane are a lovely duo and hilarious! Brian seems very nice but three's a crowd and this channel is better with just the two mother and daughter comedy, nutrition, hilarious lessons and interactions!
You dumped out all the water from cooking/soaking the frozen veggies😮 ! I save to add for veggie stock or another sauce to get some more flavor and nutrients.
I love you guys, but I think the pre-made sauce is a bit of a “cheat” for the theme. Knowing how to do a quick oil free sauce at the same time, is a feat.
It seems like you guys are always making sweet little Ann do so much work. Here she is under huge pressure to make this meal with a timer on her. Other times you make her drag a huge truck tire up the street or across the stage. Somebody needs to save that poor little lady! I’m gonna contact her son Rip!! 😂😂😂

I love coming here for the comedy and plant based cooking! ❤️🤤❤️

Enjoy watching you girls so much!
I learn and laugh. Not a bad combination.

It‘s true that pasta cooks faster in water than in broth or soup.
What a fun video! Thank you! You are all awesome!
Good grief!! Ann is so funny she puts to shame The French Chef and the Galloping Gourmet! She has some comic genius like Lucille Ball. So funny. 😂 👍👏👏
I love this channel, I’ve learned soooo much. It’s on my bucket list to attend one of their retreats soon. Highly recommend their book. It is my go to for cooking.

Just when we thought you guys couldn’t get funnier! Can’t wait to try that beautiful dish. I’m going to cook it for my daughter!!
Ann is such a character! So funny.Great flexible, recipe.❤
A great idea for a quick meal and delightful to watch.
That would be good with peanut sauce too! Love you guys!
Looks so pretty and yummy Ann!!! Love your book ladies!!! The recipes are so great!!
I really enjoy all of you, Ann is a crack up 😅. I'm just starting to research how to get started.❤
I need more options for dinner, can't wait to watch this series. Thank you all!
I've been using Hunts no salt added tomato sauce in a can. You find it in the canned tomato section. It's also no oil.
I am so inspired! This is going on my meal plan!

Dolores
You are the funniest ladies ever and your dishes are yummy❤❤❤
I would add in some type of white bean for some extra fiber and protein.
good idea. I like to add white beans to mashed potatoes for the same reason you mention.
Cannellini is my favorite.

I love watching you! Thank you for sharing your real life, easy recio9and tips! Love it!
This was a fun and delightful video. Love this family.

So entertaining and educational AT THE SAME TIME!! 😊

Ann is such a rock star and if I were competing I’d always want to be on her team!
Looking good Ann. 🎉
Ann rocked it! 💫
Fantastic and outstanding work ❤🎉and very tasty and yummy recipe 👏 👌
This is SO doable!!!! I am loving eating this way. Thank you.
I need to make this pronto. Great dish Ann. Loved the presentation!
I can't seem to find the other video for the Esselstyn Foundation
Beautiful!
This was so fun to watch and gave me some new ideas, thanks
Love your show
Can I have some, please? I'm really hungry. Esselstyns are the best chefs. ❤❤
Love this recipe…yes, Ann to the beans or frozen peas yum
I make my own pasta sauce the only salt is in the tomato paste I use w lots of garlic . Will try Jane’s . Thank u
Ann your dish looks sooo delicious 😋 and healthy!!! TFS!!!
Happy Spring!!!
This is reminiscent of the goulash I used to make for my kids. It did contain meat at the time, but it didn’t need it (and I didn’t know better at the time.). Yum!
Ann plated that so beautifully!
Ann is something else!
Thank you
Ann is amazingly entertaining

You can get vegan Worcestershire sauce.
So much fun and it looks so good! I use Well Your World Non-Fortified Nutritional Yeast - It's the best I have ever tasted!
❤❤😮😮😂😂 i just ❤❤❤❤ Ann ..and off course Jane and her husband 😊😊
Beautiful!!!👏👏👏👏
I Love ❤️ the pasta sauce in your cookbook
Wonderful
Okay Anne’s a hoot!
How do you wash your kale? It seems hard to me
Why don’t you use the cooking water for a soup later?
Yum, seems like such a great dish :D running frozen veggies under warm water to defrost them is a great trick, and one I've used many times :) always such a fun time :D thank you for sharing
I like that type of pasta, I will have to look for it!
Very nice Ann!!!
I don’t think any of this takes too long. The trick is knowing how to season things properly so they taste good.
Our frozen vegetables in uk don't have the variety that yours have grrrrr. Thank you
Sure is a tall person kitchen! I could never store things on top of the fridge!
First step, she stripped the kale of stems. What to do with the kale stems later?
It’s actually pretty easy to find pasta sauce without oil.
Just found your channel! Lol! I’m loving you all! I thought olive oil was supposed to be good for you?
I'm noticing that the themes for all their videos is hurry up and rush 🤣!

Try Sprouts brand No salt Marinara
Save that liquid for soup ❤😊
Where can I order the pasta sauce
Where is the link to the pasta sauce recipe?
Ann and Jane are a lovely duo and hilarious! Brian seems very nice but three's a crowd and this channel is better with just the two mother and daughter comedy, nutrition, hilarious lessons and interactions!
I disagree. I think Brian complements them well
Funny yet informative. Yummy
You dumped out all the water from cooking/soaking the frozen veggies😮 ! I save to add for veggie stock or another sauce to get some more flavor and nutrients.
This is lovely, but it’s driving me nuts because I don’t like my vegetables overcooked!
Do you have a vegan diabetes cook book?
I like calling it apple crispa.
😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It PAST-ABLE
Found out nutritional yeast contains MSG. 😢
How old is Ann ?
I love you guys, but I think the pre-made sauce is a bit of a “cheat” for the theme. Knowing how to do a quick oil free sauce at the same time, is a feat.
The theme is 15 minute meals with fresh veggies and pantry staples. They said to use jarred sauce, which is a pantry staple for me.
Looks good, except for the nutritional yeast. Don't care for the taste.
I love you Jane..but leave your mom be lol....so critical of her!!
Please dip into cooking for someone who has gout and diabetes

If looks were important no one would eat fastfood, nothing for the eye..stuff colorless browns palet.
You being in money do not thinks so but it us expensive when you are poor.. and precut even more so.
@@patricialynveal4017 Are meat and chips and fast food and sodas cheaper?
