This is the first song that I can honestly say I 100% feel, it’s like every lyric applies to everything I went through, and just to know a lot of other people feel the same is so sad…yet comforting that it’s a human exchange. We feel this hurt together. It’s so somber yet human.
Some singers are taught to omit those last parts closing the vowel because it can sound too harsh into the mic, especially the “ts”s. Hers are so gentle though, it actually works and isn’t distracting at all. That’s pretty neat.
