- Here's our video on going to St. Lucia. I hope you get ideas on places to visit on vacation. I also wanted to give you a taste of hotels to book or hotels to stay at. Obviously there's vacation outfit ideas from what I wore. You know me, it's about how to look chic when it's hot. We loved staying at Jade Mountain and Hotel Chocolat. A real treat and I'm glad I took you with me. The end was unexpected but I'm glad I kept it in so I forever be humbled.

@@queeniepearson9208 I used to have crippling social anxiety my whole life. I managed to overcome it by putting myself In situations where I had no choice but to “sink or swim”. Once you do it a few times you realise it’s actually fine!
You are so right regarding memories. I’ve taken care of a number of people who were in the dying process and, trust me, the “stuff” isn’t what’s on your mind. Memories of fun times, good food, good conversation, laughing, resilience, beauty … that’s the real “stuff”. Thank you for keeping that last clip in. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
You are so right about creating memories because in the end that is all we have and if they are good memories that will help carry our loved ones through life. Thank you for sharing and always being genuine with us. You are my favorite TH-camr and you have helped bring back the style of the way I use to dress in me. When I was in high school I would wear ties, blazers, men dress shirts that was some of my style. Hubby and I went to St Lucia in 2011 for our honeymoon. We were at Jalousie before it became Sugar Beach. St Lucia was one of our favorite vacation spots and we can’t wait to go again one day 😊💕 St Lucia is simply magical.

10 years ago I left an abusive marriage. He nearly killed me and scarred my career, devastated my mind, my finances and poisoned my daughter against me. God in his mercy has walked me thru an incredible healing journey where last year I was able to celebrate my 60th birthday with friends in St. Maarten. Part of that trip was a boat tour like yours and yes....EXPERIENCES are what matter. Not things, not fluff but connecting with God and becoming who he intended for you to be and experiencing HIS greatness. My journey continues and watching your story unfold reminds me of what is really important. Thank you Karen and thank you Michael .

Hello from Barbados. I'm so glad you didn't delete it. I love that you lived completely in that moment, and I love how Michael was emotionally supportive. What a lovely trip, and lovely memories that were created. Thanks for sharing. Saint Lucia is my favourite island to visit, and Jade Mountain is definitely in my top three. All of the rooms at Jade have infinity pools and they each have a different colour glass. They used recycled glass to "tile" the pools. Please tell me you enjoyed their famous Bentley cocktail on the roof deck bar while you were there.
Karen there is a God in Heaven that places these wonderful desires in our heart , " that thought I wander what it would be like" , we ask ourselves is something I believe God has promised us.. He loves giving and showing us Good things. Your tears are a wonderful delight to Him . He loves you 🎉❤
