    I would also look into the Oathmark range for some proxies. I used their Elf Light Infantry to make some Ranger proxies that look pretty good. I also think their Elf Cavalry box set might be a decent proxy for Swan Knights if you were willing to do a little work on them. Great video man.

    Nice Video as always. Thanks for including my Axemen, I'm quite proud of them, and thanks to this channels videos I also have someone to lead them now ;)
    Working on some Blackroot Vale Archers (out of Rohan Warriors and the same Perry Miniatures Set) and am painting my Dol Amroth. How's your Fiefdoms doing Nick? Did you knew that GW had an article about the Fiefdoms in the WD in which more potenial Units were listed. It's in the Best of WD Return of the King, they even made Ringlo Vale Troops;)

      Thanks dude :) Your Blackroot Vale guys are going to look class.
      My Ringlo Vale warband is coming along nicely, thanks. I'll send some pics when I'm a little further along with them! Their paint scheme is semi-inspired by that article, although they're different conversions and I came up with a different stat block.

      @@windrushwargamers2745 Thanks! Also you can use Ebob Scots and antediluvian Scots as Lamedom /Feifoms proxies. Going to do a full Lamedon army using them soon.

    Love the proxy ideas and Middle Earth!
    Not planning on getting a 3dprinter anytime soon though, besides that I found printservices that print STL files for you to be expensive and mostly geared to larger quantities and probably not better deal dan GW. So I guess I'd have to know someone who has a printer?
    I would love to see some more converted models too and maybe things like using particular paint schemes to proxy

      Thank you :) We've noticed that Forgemaster tends to provide cheaper alternatives with free postage. There will probably be a few others on Etsy and other sights, but Forgemaster is the only one geared toward MESBG specifically that we found. Other than that, you're absolutely right. STL licences are often bought by printing services that take the piss slightly, just like some painting services.
      Been thinking of collecting Rhun, so you might just see the Koursore conversions in one of our vids in the next year. That's a good idea about making a vid of the converted proxies we already made, cheers :)

    Anybody have any ideas for Sharkey Rogues Ruffians proxy? Thanks

    • @windrushwargamers2745
      @windrushwargamers2745  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A lot of the Levy/ outlaws from Footsore miniature barons war might fit the aesthetic and they scale well. footsoreminiatures.co.uk/collections/barons-war
      They come in around £1 cheaper per model than the ruffians - so over the force you would save a lot.
      If you wanted more savings maybe a plastic kit like: fireforge-games.com/northern-kingdom/370-folk-rabble.html - although it must be notes that the scale is larger.
