I would laugh but apparently Facebook ad revenue is better than TH-cam during its prime and the views you can get are like 10 or even 100 times higher than you would get on TH-cam.

I'm ok with him being a terrible 2/8 player even with the casualized gameplay that we have now, everyone needs to have an opinion. But being that strongly opinionated as asmon said and trying to cover it by being reasonable while in truth being extremely toxic, this is the reason why i don't leave my house.
I used to play WoW in vanilla, haven't played for years. I enjoy watching Asmongold bash on WoW more than I like watching people play it.
The thing is that I thought asmon never gonna bash wow bec it's his game.. You know how bad state the game is in if he does bash it.. 100% agree with his points and bashing💯

This guy is literally the exact type of person activision blizzard is catering to. An audience that picked up the game after cata / MOP and have no idea how good the game was before those expansions. A dude who goes back to experience content he was never a part of when it was current. Activision blizzard literally hands them a pile of shit on a plate and these people eat it up because they don’t know the difference between the god awful content they’re being handed today and the great content we had pre-MOP. He talks about analytics that are IMPOSSIBLE for him to actually know, and “paying” for challenge runs with no evidence to back it up, there’s no foundation to his argument at all...?

Plain and simple, the real fans of WoW no longer play, because the game we love has been perverted into some Korean mobile game bullshit, the game has no soul anymore and hasn't for years. I've held on and given Blizzard the benefit of the doubt for far too long, I played till the 2nd month of BFA and realized just how fucked this whole situation has actually become. BFA is a complete and utter joke, it's a shitty knock-off of Legion and everyone knows that. Pretending the shitty game they've given us in BFA is anything but just a primitive garbage version of a handful of things from BFA is absurd. IF you can't see that, you're living with rose-tinted glasses on, BFA has provided nothing new of substance to WOW, the problems that existed in Legion were there but at least what they gave the community was all NEW to a degree. They've cut so many employees and people at the top of Blizzard are jumping ship so fucking fast pretending that Blizzard itself isn't being purged of its employees and replaced with people from Activision's mobile game departments is stupid. Because that is what's happening essentially. WoW is done guys, the game is not going to make a turnaround, the writing is on the walls. And, it's people like that fuck fb streamer that justify the shitty behavior companies like Activision are guilty of. Saying that there is only FEW things wrong with WOW right now in BFA with a straight face is fucking astounding. I mean, astounding motherfucker. There's no hope especially with the people being put into Blizzard by Activision and with fuckheads like this facebook streamer. GG WoW. I will miss you, I loved you, I spent so much time playing since I was 19... I'm 32 now. I'm a massive fan of this fucking game. I don't play it now because I can no longer support Activision raping something that's meant so much to me for so fucking long. Fuck anyone still playing, and fuck anyone pretending that the bullshit BFA has given the community is even CLOSE to acceptable. Seriously, if you fall into any of those things, fuck you, you've helped kill something that's meant a whole lot to me for an extremely long time.
To be fair I personally don't have access to my Vanilla//TBC Acc(left before WotLK) because things were different back then, you had an account name to login where now you use an email. My bro set my account up so I could try it out and we forgot his email info. It still exists I talked to a GM about it and he found both our old accounts, though he wanted "both" of us to jump through some hoops(even though he had our names, card info, basic email info, char names and old account name verified from my current acc and memory) and I didn't care enough to follow up further as I wasn't interested in playing for more than a month after checking out the content of that expansion, think it was Warlords. It's an isolated case but it does exist to returning players from that era though I doubt that's this guy's case.
I read this half way through the video when asmon was explaining this exact same thing.
I skipped most of Cata and MoP, but played every other expansion from start to finish. None of those are even nearly as bad as BfA, I actually liked MoP quite a bit when I came back to play it. Even WoD was better than BfA. It's all gone downhill steadily since wrath first patch though, with Legion being a bump up in quality (classes were still pretty shit) and now it's taken a nose dive.

Exactly, although i'm just tired and sick of nostalgia, i went back to play so many games i thought were great and yes, they were back in the day in their own era, it's not like games are complete shit now, hell, WoW was great back in Legion, it was amazing, so it's not like new = bad.
There are so many games that play the nostalgia card and are trash, because games used to be trash, low fps, low graphics, shitty controls, poor coding... now don't get me wrong, old games isolated, back in the day were great, but they don't stand a chance against some of the new titles, yes, there is even more shit today than before, but there was always shit back in the day too, way more than great games. But i'm rambling too much, sorry.

@@redclanwool1590 Yup, they are, it's a matter of context, hence why so many nostalgia appealing games tend to be shitty, while others like CrossCode, imo, appeals to nostalgia but puts a nice twist with current technology.
I loved WotLK back in the day, but i went back to play a 1x pvt server and it just sucks, i rather do almost nothing and wait for content in BFA like i did back in WoD, it's just not the same, the game is too old.

I have been playing since wrath and I still click on melee because it's easy for me but ranged I use key board and I pull good numbers
Why would you ever click an ability with your mouse instead of using an instant key for it? I never understood that logic. Even if you're the fastest and most precise clicker in the world (which I doubt) you will never even come close to the fluid, instant chain of commands you get by using key binding.
You lose visual control by dragging your mouse cursor, your eyes wander to the ability icon instead of whats going on around you, you delay the click by at least 1 sec every time you click. Like...wtf? Why would you ever voluntarily limit yourself like that? It cant be convenience because nothing is more convenient that using key bindings.

@@patrickjin6610 I havent played BFA since like a few weeks after Uldir launch, but DP was WAY better than Crusade and in some cases even simmed above or slightly below Inq. The only problems with DP is RNG and I think a bug that made it so it couldn't procc off itself. The guy is a total shitter and a clicker, but you're bashing him for the wrong reasons.

Also complains about not being able to flex group for mythic raids before talking about how the game shouldn't just give people handouts. Claims Wotlk is "obviously" the best expansion despite not having even played during it. Makes a stream meant to defend the current state of the game against what he claims is excessive criticism by Asmongold yet doesn't refute any of the complaints and instead just talks about previous expansions while doing old content after struggling for 10 minutes to open a picture comparing Asmomgold to Gollum instead. Claims to be a progression raider having only cleared heroic and the first 2 mythic bosses of an expansion months into the tier, and says he doesn't want to burn himself out on the same content despite not having finished it.
If I hadn't seen so many other players with the same attitude first hand over the course of my time playing WoW I'd be convinced this guy was trolling. Unfortunately he doesn't seem to be.

Great dungeons, great difficulty, great questing and storytelling. Remember the really cool quests-mechanics? They really stopped using those in bfa quite a lot sadly....
They were tough as balls and I loved it, the classes were great, the overhall of the old world, having a true narrative through the regions with actual PROGRESSION like building up camps etc. the quests lead up to the dungeons ... was dope at that moment.

Like there are a few exceptions I guess but there’s just something about the game back then that kinda wants to go back even though I didn’t experience the full expac of wotlk

Honestly, haøf the reason i dont play is the lack of 10 man raiding. I just dont find i possible to have 20 people sitting there and having fun, telling jokes and having a great night. Gave it a fair shot in legion, but after raiding for a month i was just another dps in the guild. Not some1 telling jokes and having fun. And i got to know 0 new people while doing it.

Its sad when people want to ignore reality, Asmongold brings up the facts and how he feels which is how many of us ex raiders feel, because the game has been dumbed down for children.
Yes while i was in Sunwell the same dribbling retards were wiping on the first boss of blacktemple with isle badge gear, the only difference now is that if i was doing max level content the dribbling retards would just farm every source buy m+ runs and proc titanforge to a similar item level as i get working for it.
It doesn't feel good to reward shit players for being shit, it makes less people want to take the game seriously and now blizzard are having issues making systems to keep players engaged.
So ignore the dribblers and listen to the raiders who want gear to feel epic the dribblers don't need max item level to afk in main cities.

Dumbed down? Well mechanically raid bosses are at its hardest compare legion or bfa mythic raid bosses mechanics to vanilla or tbc and even legion dungeon bosses have more mechanics.

Gear are yes easier to obtain, there are alot of raids guided instatly and addons which makes some bosses mechanics useless. Biggest difference is that gear were rarer and alot less informatiom and bad boss designs... remind me how many bosses blizz had to live patch in vanilla and tbc because they were too stupid and overturned them to unbeatable? Ps: simple mechanics but boss just hitting hard isn't hard or complex in anyway.

@@johannessimola1615 Marx saw communism the exact same as capitalism just with no class exploitation and most people when you actually get down to it and question their beliefs agree with communism as a theory just not the negative side effects that indirectly occur because of it. He actually wrote many times about his love for the idea behind capitalism and agreed with it fully as a concept but you seem like you don't know much about him and are just trying to maintain the raging boner you have for hating Asmongold without researching any of the topics you're talking about.
@@1988ryan1 Actually if you read Marxes text he saw communism as too idealistic and knew it wouldn't work in real life and he personally saw that combination of socialism and capitalism for which closest is the scanidavian democracies. As he believed Capitalism worked in a way but 100% capitalism would cause on long term that middle class and lower class would become poorer and richest part of the population would become richer if the capitalistic system isn't watched with socialictic systems through goverment.
You just proved you haven't read his work as marx himself defined communism that it is a socialism taken to a point that there is no goverment, army, polive force, no currency, not any thing makes it a possibility for single person gain leverage over the other and that world would be giant commune.

I'm taking the meaning of the word theory from the Cambridge dictionary "A formal statement of the rules which a subject or study is based off of ideas that are suggested to explain a fact, event or more generally an opinion or explanation" "If something is possible in theory is should be possible, but it does not often work out that way" My point was communism works in theory but usually doesn't work because of how impractical it is when actually applied.
WoW was great, Legion was great, BFA isn't great. You can hate an expansion without hating the product as a whole. I only have one character to 120 and im having more fun going back to older expansions than playing the current expansion's content.

You also have no right to judge those enjoying the game, nor deciding what a true wow fan is. Maybe you, and older streamer need to ask yourself if you're not part of the problem. WoW has still loads of players, meaning a load of player do enjoy the game. What's the best for blizzard : listening to the minority's wish, or listening to the majority's trend ? Sure, Blizzard DO seem out touch, but if WoW managed to stay the MMO reference for so long, maybe it's because they did listen to the majority's desire, rather than a minority of old veteran's
Poop Pancake If ppl stop supporting WoW then they'll just close down the game. When players stop paying for a product the investors and financial dept dont think "Hey we should make this product better for ppl". They are far more likely to just cancel support for the product.
Also attacking each other just shows that WoWs community is just as divided on this topic as anyone other issue and the devs cant really take action. Whats important is the community comes together to send a message. If you really want to make Blizz and WoW look bad then the community should come together to boycott BFA and go back to the previous content. Imagine how bad it would look if players were so disappointed in BFA that they actively avoided it like it didnt even exist?
