But McConnell is like our wow Jesus and takes up the mantle of negativity so that they can discuss things to reach the middle ground. But without McConnell it will always start and end with the middle ground. In writing we call this beat by beat. If there is no back and forth and only overall neutral then it isn't fun to watch. So I wouldn't say either is half empty or half full guy.

I enjoy McConnell I usually don't read TH-cam comments since they are worth less than a live comment, I only say this because there is a massive disconnection from viewer to streamer + the faster the chat the harder it is for the streamer to understand what the viewers say and everything becomes chaotic.

He seems like a nice guy, he makes the streams more lively and enjoyable, and brings arguments. When I don't agree with him, it's still fine, because I only know that after being challenged by his opinion. Disagreeing is not bad, you can disagree with people without antagonizing them on a personal level. Besides, he's putting his thoughts on the line. That's much more effort, more honesty and more constructiveness (which is a positive thing in my book), than just hating on someone and calling him names.

I enjoy McConnell I usually don't read TH-cam comments since they are worth less than a live comment, I only say this because there is a massive disconnection from viewer to streamer + the faster the chat the harder it is for the streamer to understand what the viewers say and everything becomes chaotic.

Mcconnell is just brutally honest and is a voice for so many of us who are just too lazy and hurt when it comes to Blizzard to even bother with them anymore. Sure sometimes he speaks without really thinking, but that is not a problem for me. It just proves that he's really passionate about the game. I also think he deserves more spotlight when it comes to streaming, he's contributing so much for the stream, he really deserves getting payed for this.

Now I don't always agree with McConnell, and I do tend to be more positive, but it's not like his opinions are hurting me, or the game, or anyone really.
He seems like a nice guy, he makes the streams more lively and enjoyable, and brings arguments. When I don't agree with him, it's still fine, because I only know that after being challenged by his opinion.
Disagreeing is not bad, you can disagree with people without antagonizing them on a personal level.
Besides, he's putting his thoughts on the line. That's much more effort, more honesty and more constructiveness (which is a positive thing in my book), than just hating on someone and calling him names.

There was a time when I thought Asmos is an asshole mostly because of his behaviour on stream but then you learn more about a person and your view changes. I really don't know why people dislike Mcconnell. He's frustrated about the game and it's influencing him but that doesn't mean he's some bad buy. Mcconnel is just as entertaining as asmongold in his stream. Personally i like it better when it's both of them. He just needs to not let the chat get to them when they're trolling him. Most of them are most likely joking and would be upset if he wasn't on the stream anymore.

Overall I really like McConnell, but the shit like this drives me crazy and I just want him out of the stream. Theres no reason to be such a cry baby. If you care that much about what a bunch of randoms think about you, then you have a problem. He can be fucking hilarious in some streams, but in ones like this, he just drags everything down
