Wow what a trip down memory lane , haven`t seen one of these since the 80`s battery test is to check the internal battery , if you look at the bottom of the scale you will see a range marked for that just a small range with an OK I bought mine back in 1982 ,if memory serves me I believe it cost around $ 30.00 haven`t give it much thought after it got stolen 2 years later Nice little meter though
I love all these old Micronta multimeter, my primary is a Fluke 87V buy I have two micronta one 22-220a and one 22-208, these meters have fet input with 10 Mohms for DC impedance. Best Regards.
Micronta, Micronta, hehehehehe. These meters are a very high quality, I have one 22-220a and one 22-208 both have fet input with 10 Mohms input impedance. I use a Fluke 87V every day but I like how these meters looks in my workbench. Best Regards.

You appear to have plugged into the incorrect jacks...use the COM and V jacks.
