Very good topic. Two ways to look at it as you said. His check clears - money in the bank - it’s a business. Glad he eventually followed the rules and you handles his issues well. On the other side of that coin is the unintended publicity you are getting. With such the negative publicity he is getting you have to remember that you name is sitting in front of all those properties. Your name may get dragged down too in said Facebook groups. On the other hand tho, people renting typically aren’t the ones renting dumpster, more-so home owners, but… Facebook does hit a lot of people… It can be hard to keep personal beliefs and business practices separate. I’ve had a couple of those types of customers…I tended to turn down those jobs and focus on “better” customers. Good topic for discussion…

I always find it interesting, the people who stand on the side and judge others. Everyone complained, but no one stepped up to do what they thought he should be doing. The haters can easily buy these proprieties and run them in the manner they feel is socially acceptable.
As for the moral quandary you present, if it bothers you to the point that you seek advice from the experts in the TH-cam comments, then that may be telling that you are uncomfortable doing business with this individual and are seeking approval to continue doing so. What I would suggest, is have an honest conversation with the man in the mirror and you to decide what's the right choice for you and your family. If you sleep well at night, then that's the right decision, public opinion be damned!!

    1. If doing business with him is a problem, then maybe his grocery store should refuse to sell him food, and his gas station should refuse to sell him gas, and his (insert ANY business here) should refuse to sell him whatever they sell to him. Why not just delete him from society completely. Ridiculous.
    2. Having said that, everything would change if he ever tried to claim that you endorsed his business model. But, I can’t imagine any circumstance where that would happen.
    3. I suppose that with a little checking around, you could find excuses for refusing to do business with ANY of your customers.

I was gonna say the same thing. Should Home Depot refuse to sell him a door for his houses, or if he gets an electrician should he refuse to install new outlets? Until it causes an actual problem with your business, keep renting him dumpsters

Establish well defined boundaries and consequences of the crossing boundaries. That's it.

Actually thinking of going live soon, like in 30 or so minutes. I’m gonna be working on my different size can nicknames with the vinyl cutter. Figured I’d hangout as I work on it again

If the money is clean 👍 might want to leave your name and number off one bin till the work is done.

Myself personally, I would not put my business and reputation on the line for a customer of that magnitude. Even though his money is good, it is not worth the risk of my lively hood for a few extra bucks from a person who is apparently that shady.
