First Time Using a Kubota BX2680

- Gary brought his tractor over for me to try out while I am waiting on my Kubota BX2680 that I ordered. Moved a pile, brush hogged and cleared land, and did some driveway maintenance. I can't wait to get mine.

Even if Ed had a tractor he's not smart enough or skilled enough to know how to operate it. Remember when he had the Bobcat on his "Property"? he was so intimidated by it that he had to have Dennis run it for him, LOL. 😂

@@jheremck I asked the same question about the Bees. My guess is that he mowed all the plants that produced the pollen for the Bees and they decided to look for another home.

Like I said on FB, I got me a 1723 Massey Furgeson sub-compact and love it! Just be careful them sub-compacts have a narrow wheelbase. You'll understand what Im saying after you use it a bit lol

If you dump the gravel going foward it spreads more evenly. Was a handy tip when I was spreading gravel

If your getting a tractor, go the next size up. As big as you can afford. Get an older B model or the newer LX models. Perfect for the size property you have.

You'll be all ready to start building fence so you can have some livestock pretty soon! It's tempting to mow new areas with a finish mower, but you never know if you'll run across a stump or boulder or old tee post that could do a number on it. I'd wait until you bush hog so you can see what you have for terrain. In the previous days, that would've been all kept down with cattle and sheep and there could easily be a boulder or two around.
+tod mills I had that area cleared at one point, so I was kind of confident. Also, I used the bucket in front of me kind of checking lol.
Put the loader in float mode would be better

@@jheremck Ed needs to change the introduction on his homepage about living debt free, after buying a new truck, trailer, lawn mowers, solar system, twenty gallon an hour well, a camper, and every case of Gauze and canning jars and lids from New York to West Virginia there's NO WAY he's living debt free, and if he is his commune members need to question how their $100 a month dues are being spent.
