I really like the type changes to be honest, its actually really cool thing! It just show us that these bey is not stuck in one typing, they can change to other type.
Base on anime/manga lore it’s really make sense too. King defeated by Kamen X with balance type so bro decided to be a defence type to tank the hit from Drans bey
Burn failed to beat Kamen X in speed and attack so bro decided to make a bey that can spin forever in order to defeat Drans variant
It also makes sense with how there aren’t evolutions but bets that function differently (like the drans) so it’s less changing direction but just making the characters bag variable
Another thing about POM is that not only is it smoother than ABS, it also more durable, with denser latice than ABS. Which leads to its use in highly complex mechanical parts on figurines.
In simple terms Glide may also have an effect of ever so slightly lowering the centre of gravity depending on how much of the bit is POM.

I like how the PhoenixRudder blade still has that 3-bladed style that PWing has, I don't think I've seen a 3-Bladed Stamina outside of one of the Ragnaruks.

Leon Crest has the similar type as Rock Leone/Fang Leone. A UX Lion Beyblade who's going to become a Defense-Type. Obviously, Leon went from Balance to Defense. First time to see a 7 pointed Ratchet.

That Leon Crest looks more roided up than Ben Johnson, but in a good way. Big promises for the future of X defense w/ the blade alone.
Phoenix Rudder on the other hand. Before I get to my personal thoughts, I just wanna say: first Feather, then Wing, and now... Rudder? On one hand, if you look at just Wing and Rudder, you can see how the naming scheme relates more to aircraft. But since Feather was the first, it and Wing make you think of a bird. The only thing I can think of for where they got Rudder for the name is that birds use their tails as rudders when in flight, but idk: that seems like a stretch and I doubt they thought of that.
But onto the bey itself. Stunning piece of art, even more so than Wing and Feather before it. But cutting right to the chase, it going from an attack type to a boring stamina type completely took all the excitement out of me. Whatever happened to the bey time shift? And I get it: you put it perfectly yourself too, with how incredible Wing was, recreating that success and boosting its ability without breaking the game would've been a tall order in and of itself. I look at it as the Beyblade equivalent to a really good racehorse - as in a once-in-a-generation talent - siring a foal that will grow up to be just as good as them. Not easy, and indeed, it doesn't happen often. But it still sucks, as an attack type and fast in general supremacist. I can already see the spamina meta steadily creeping its way back in, first with Wizard Rod and now with this, if the blade and bit end up being as good as I think they will.
However, I will give props to the G bit (forgot its name already): that wide base with the plastic mold in the middle should be very good for quick movement, solid stamina, and even balance perhaps. Plus, when you look at the stamina type Phoenix, the new defense type Leon, and the upcoming attack type Pegasus, yeah, this brings me back to Metal Fight. So, not all is lost. :)

Sure! So lets use 3-60 for an example. The 3 means there's 3 spikes/protrusions. 60 is the height. So on the new LeonCrest, its 7-60, so it has 7 protrusions and is 60 height. Right now there's 3 different heights: 60, 70 and 80.

I have the soar phoenix, 9-60GF. 60 is the height, I guess in milimeters. but I can't figure out the 9. is it the spikes in the middle of the rachet? do you have any video where you explain it?

@@nuc Think about it. She's a relative to King Manju, who uses LeonClaw, a Balance-Type. ShinobiShadow is a Defense-Type, and so is LeonCrest. So, I theorize that she'll get LeonCrest at some point.

I like how this new pheonix has POM, just like revive pheonix did in burst, and that it’s a stamina type, which reminds me of burn pheonix from MFB. As for LeonCrest, the 7-60 reminds me of the wall frame from Cho-Z Spriggen in burst.

It’s not going to be super heavy I assume. It’s also REALLY top heavy because the metal is only on top, meaning it’ll lose balance. Also, cobalt dragoon is about 37.5g so… there’s good counters to it.
