I had same issue. Even with all the efforts i made chain was making noise. Lastly i got to know that my swing arm bearings were damaged. After replacing them the noise stopped😅. And second way i avoided noise was keeping chain loose. I had powerloss but at a price of silent ride

I have fz 250 and the chains rubber guard which sits middle if chain and swing arm is wearing out with only running after 5000km wts the problem here please do a video on the rubber including lubes

Bajaj = irritating chain noise even though you lube, Because of this irritating chain noise even after frequent lubing and adjustment I sold my D400 2020
I own ns200 and it is something which needs a little more chain maintainence but not something which cannot be done.
Previously, I owned gixxer and fz and when I do proper maintainence, it behaves similarly.
Bajaj and TVS both have same irritating chain noise issue 😢. Previously used RS 200 and RTR 200. Using RR310 and Ninja 650. RR310 also has same issue, though less irritating than RTR200
I think its the driving bro.all these bikes have power and when you accelerate suddenly and abruptly from slow speeds or still ,the chain gets loose. I had a Mahindra centuro,the engine is so weak,yet ,when i rode it abruptly and with sudden acceleration,the chain got loose and noisy fast. Now think about doing this to a 400cc power machine😅
@@pranavjs No such issues in suzuki and Honda vehicles even if you don't lube they dont make chain noise how is this possible
thats why Use engine oil 20w50 in chain. Iam using it since 2012 and no chain sound felt. original chain set lasted for 45000 kms.

By owning a Bajaj you've to accept the chain Noise and wear a good quality helmet for insulation.. I've an N160 and I do deep clean every 500km with wd 40/motul c1 and then lubricate with Motul c2 .. every 2000km I open the front sprocket and clean it thoroughly but still the chain noise is permanent...I stopped giving attention to that .. without helmet you'll feel like you're driving a really cheap bike
Using Gear oil for chain lubrication & diesel for chain cleaning will be more cost effective.

I recently bought ns200 and yep, it needs a little more chain maintainence.
I use gear oil, so have to lube every 200-300km and cleaning is required every 400km.
This is a little more maintainence when compared to my gixxer and fz.

Hi, I have a totally off topic doubt regarding engine oil. Motul 300v2 is available at a hefty price of 1600₹/L, is it worth the extra money compared to castrol power 1 ultimate superbike 10w50 engine oil ? Or should I go with liquimoly street race ? My bike is Dominar 250 and my daily usage is low with occasional 100-150km long drives
Castrol power 1 ultimate will suffice your daily requirements a lot better and save some money too.
When we use gear oil as a chain lube than oil spil or rim pleasetell me solutions and i have splendor pro which chain lube is good for this bike
Try motomax, it was value for money for me. Also, I use gear oil mostly and if done properly, then it will not mess up your rim (for the most part).
@@mdzaid5925 i do drop drop oil on every link of chain and after 15-30 mints wipe of access lube and ride after 6-8 hours then i see oil is spil on main stand and aloy wheel.
after applying gear oil use royal enfield chain lube slight layer
its doesnt spray everywhere like other lube
P.S its costly
but gear oil combo can really save you money and spillage
Every 500 kms, I used to clean the chain of my Passion Pro using diesel and used EP 90 gear oil to lubricate it. In that way, I used to get 80k kms sprocket life!
I use silicon grease for llchain lubing and a simple pressure water wash before that.
Believe me it has never changed anything...😂😂

Chain noise in N160, N150 and N250 is because of a manufacturing defect and it wont hgo away with just cleaning and lubrication.
I've seen many owners complaining this. And the only solution is to change the rubber strap under the chain in above row(you can find this at 00:09). Or you can add additional rubber strap/a patch of tube/foam tape which gives additional cushioning to chain and reduces the noise made by it.
Where to find the chain rubber strap ?
