Totally worth it. The most amazing part of the show in my opinion is how well psychologically written the characters in it are, making this anime thrive in that aspect, telling a deep and obscure story as well. It makes you think about humanity and what people are able to do. You question the real human instincts and if good or bad really exists, because everyone does things with a purpose. Not shallow needs or cravings like to make others happy or enjoy other's suffering. Every character in the show has a deep life purpose, goals and obstacles which lead to a long and fascinating journey. Especially both main character and main antagonist, which have the ultimate life battle on who is right and who is wrong about their morals and what they learned through life piercing experiences Most of the people who've seen it agree that this anime should be considered top tier.
