Framing a gunpla - custom painting a model kit from the runners

What a cool idea and project! It looks really, really nice. You were able to give a new life to the 1990 FG kit! I built one myself and now it’s on display as part of the Gundam exhibit at the Science Fiction and Fantasy Museum (MUFANT), in Torino, Italy, showing the evolution of gunpla design and style from the 1980 very first kit to the latest ones,

I thought this was a tutorial for how to paint gunplas while in runners but it was an entirely different. Nonetheless, this is a great work. Keep it up.

yes sir' pre-thinned na lacquer paints ni arkom. Pero sa water based nila, di ko pa natry..

I always wonder, what if you paint the runner and then assemble it? will the nub mark be an eyesore?
