Man that RDJ sculpt is absolutely insane and blows away any other bust I've seen. As for the head size, I think they were just trying to replicate what we see on screen, where the CG Iron Man had a smaller head and more heroic proportions than when it was just an unmasked RDJ in an actual suit.
The gold and silver look fine in the vid imho honestly. The portrait/face is freaking perfection. Might be the best bust portrait I have ever seen. Crazy
Awesome bust, the likeness is second to none. My only gripe with the bust is the reactor which looks poor compared to the Queen Studios one's. Been nice if they got the body similar quality as Queen but they did nail the head sculpt and that is super hard to do with human likeness, congrats will look great with your other marvel bust
Finally caught up buddy. This one turned out GREAT. Likeness is 99% for sure. Yeah there are some cons but I still think it’s a win for Marvel collectors and it’ll look awesome in your display. Congrats
What you’re paying for here is the near perfect face accuracy. Nothing more. Nothing less. And, given just HOW accurate it is, I think that just might be enough to make it worth the price of admission.
As soon as I saw the foam and how dusty the statue was, I knew there’d be some issues. The head sculpt is incredible, but the paint job really falls short. It’s clear they focused on the head and cut corners elsewhere-especially with the cheap plastic in the arc reactor, which is a real letdown. If it were mine, I’d definitely ask Titinun to repaint it. Overall, I’d give it an 7/10, mainly because of how great the head sculpt is. Then you factor in how expensive it is, it's not worth it. That's just me.
This is very fair comment. I have got mine. It only cost me 2,750 US dollars. So I think it is very cost-effective and worthwhile. After all, the price is only half that of Queens'. 4,600 US dollars is extremely expensive, oh my god.
My Question is, how do you know they used medical grade platnum silione? being a non licence, they could use cheaper material that may deteriorate in a coupe of years. You cant tell the difference just by looking at the silicone.
@@artstatuecollector Feeling it is not at all an accurate metric to assess its durability. It can feel the same. Some medical grade silicone are soft, some are harder. Its the grade of the material that reflects its duribilty, not the feel of it. basicly you hope for the best but you dont know.
@@artstatuecollector yes but in my opinion as a bust collector from 20 years, I didn't buy this bust because I absolutely don't like the INNER STUDIO busts, and I don't like the marketing they do, at first it wasn't clear if it was real or just fake photos of the bust, then they put it up pre-ordered on a Facebook page, I don't pay almost 5k to an unknown page. I didn't like them. But the head is beautiful. I admit it.
It's great to watch your honest review. It is for sure the head sculpt is overwhelming. I believe you can open up RDJ's iphone by face ID. But for me, as you already have mentioned on the review, cutting out all other details of the statues is fatal flaws. I was about to have mine, but decided not to buy it. No offence intended.

That Headsculpt is just crazy. I have never seen any Bust/Statue, that comes that close with the Likeness.

The skin is crazy good, I’ve never seen a bust include so many wrinkles, moles, imperfections and hairs on the neck. They did an amazing job.

for me, i'm paying for the likeness of it. i have a custom one being made and that cost 4 times more than this.

i don't know for certain but from the feel of it. before filming, i touched and compared the way silicone of each busts and they all feel the same.
