Lived in BA for 14 years. Watched my big bro play in pride. Damn was it good. Ended up joining pride as well, but unfortunately had to move to florida. i still talk about how pride is #1 and will always be #1 in my eyes. keep it up broken arrow. you all rock!
i wish our band did stuff like this :( the stuff we win is sooo fun, i can't even imagine winning the things they do. it must be an amazing feeling. i love you guys.
@RealFatWookie you mean Steve Vento at 0:25? I don't know much about him as I'm an BA Alum (snare-line) from '94 , but at 1:32? I hope you're not talking about Tom Stout. He IS THE REASON why the Broken Arrow Pride exists. He is is the grandfather and godfather of what the BA Pride is all about today.
AHH!!! lol I was born in Broken Arrow, but I had to move to Georgia because of my dad's job transfer, but my cousin is in the Pride!! I even have a nifty little bracelet for sponsoring lol! they work their butts off!
man i wish my band would to grand nationals were suppose to go next yr i mean i know we can compete with broken arrow we were in the top 12 at boa st.louis last yr
@prideofba not to mention... no two bands are the same... and no two band documentaries are going to be the same. besides, the more documentaries out there, the more support we can gain for the music programs in the US... something that's lacking now...
My oh my how the times change 😂 Now having seen our program that we were a part of achieving success at BOA (which funnily enough now includes a 4th place St. Louis finish), that show definitely wouldn't have even sniffed finals back then 😅 Honestly if I had to choose 3 years pre-BOA involvement with our program, I'd have to say 2006, 2009, and 2012 would've had the best shots with 2010 an honorable mention. And as for Broken Arrow, what a program they continue to have down there!
thats what makes a good band so good get yelled at alot you want to get better you want that OBA you know your directors want it take it I go To Eufaula trust me i know these things GO BA and Go THe Pride OF Eufaula Ironhead Marching Band BAND TIN HUT PRIDDDDDDDDDEEEEEEEEE and im proud to be a band nerd
Well, I don't need a nightlife. I have a computer and a horse, which is plenty of entertainment for me to survive on. btw, Bell did do good at GN this year.
When are you guys ever going to give another band chance at oba? seriously .. the contests have become boring because it isn't going to be a suprise at who is going to get first
Only problem with broken arrow is there is no Nightlife for teens, or for adults for that matter. Tulsa is no better, Okc/norman is the only place to find something to do.
Ah so you probably think that really loud blaring sounds good. You'll call them "Bell tones" You don't realize musicianship. If you care about the crowd then you'd realize that flute runs get a crowd who likes music excited.
I have a Ton of friends in pride and they said the best feeling in the world is when your standing Down there and you know you won.
No joke, bro. I'm sooo proud of how we did this year and all the fabulous groups we placed infront of!

OMG you guys are soo good! Everyone in my band looks at you as unbeatable and an amazing band!
You know the poster for the movie. The guy with the trumpet was a student of my band teachers. She is awsome so is Broken Arrow! :)

This looks like it's more about the people who run the band rather than the people in the band.
Who is here in 2021 after they won it all?
@HeatherFeather46 The season they filmed was 2001. The film came out in 2003.
man i wish my band would to grand nationals were suppose to go next yr i mean i know we can compete with broken arrow we were in the top 12 at boa st.louis last yr

this documentary is from 2001, not Aqua. same uniforms as last year and the year before.

The guy talking at 0:25 wrote my band's show this year, and the guy talking at 1:32 was one of our band directors who just retired. He's a joke.
@pooj247
I own both films and prefer this one.
Spoiler alert, this documentary sucks.
not great art from a music stand point i mean this is a band right? focus on the music more than pageantry

These uniforms are really lame by comparison to the half black-half white ones.
will a band just come out and skip the pageantry and play the shit out of some music please, no offense this is not great art. go shed
