Actually I think you'll find that the world has completely forgotten about dubstep. It came and left in like a year.
Everyone listens to hip hop now and jumped on the hip hop train which I do like some hip hop Travis Scott is one of my favorite rappers but I will always love edm I listen to a lot of trance Armin Van Buren and above and beyond but I wish edm can keep up with hip hop and be just as popular. Hopefully dubstep and edm can make a comeback and a huge one. I remember during the middle school days and high school days everyone was into rock/punk rock screamo but times change I know.
